Misc: This park is worth checking out, especially considering it's close proximity to Portland and other skateparks. This park looks like it was designed after Vancouver's Swift Skateboarding Park, but Canby is smaller and has no roll-ins. Most the transitions in the park are too sudden and steep making this a difficult park to skate. No picnic tables or benches to sit. There is a drinking fountain but turned off for winter. One permanant Porta-Potty. I don't think this park would be too much fun for young and inexperienced kids, because of the sudden transitions. If you do decide to bring young kids here, please obey the rule of thumb and leave the skatepark before noon.
