The Thaliannical
branch is one of the four sub branches of the Puthuparambil branch originating
from Okanda the second son of Puthuparambil Chandy (3rd generation).
Okanda had four sons and the families from all four flourished
substantially. Hence the early fathers considered all these four sub branches
under separate names. The history of the 'Thaliannical' branch
starts from Varghese the third son of Okanda.
He settled in Thaliannical near Perumpetty. He was a ardent farmer who
believed in reaping a golden harvest from his farms. He married Chennattu
Saramma from Kozhencherry and had 4 sons and 6 daughters.
