ARLINE'S ANCESTORS

A History of my People

My ancestors came to this country from Europe, some from France, some from England and Scotland, and some from Ireland. I feel like I'm closer to my Irish ancestors than perhaps any of the others. I think I might be a little bit Cherokee, also. I would like to think that some of my ancestors were originally from this part of the American continent. But from wherever they may have originated, in the early 1800's, many of my direct ancestors were settling around the Southern Rutherford and NWestern Bedford Co. areas of Middle Tennessee, along with nearby Marshall and Williamson Counties.

My original intend was the sharing of information but my focus has changed to more of a history of my ancestors. I will still be happy to "exchange" information, so if you have questions or differing opinions, please let me know.
