A Typical
Weekend
We camp each month from
April through October except for months that have a State
Samboree. A typical weekend would consist
of:
- Friday evening - we often go
out to a local restaurant and sometimes have a pot-luck
dinner
- Saturday - there will be a
general club meeting sometime during the day. The evening
features a planned meal, usually potluck with the weekend
hosts providing the meat. During the day the chapter
members participate in many different types of games and
activities. Sometimes a tour to a local site of interest
will be planned.
- Sunday Morning - we hold a
potluck breakfast, a non-denominational devotional, and
then wish each other fond farewell and safe travels until
our next get-together
