One of our most memorable trips occurred in October, 2001. The trip was to be an exploration of the Sante Fe Trail.

The trail stretches from St. Louis, MO to Sante Fe, NM and passes through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and New Mexico.

Following the trail in most places is relatively easy as it was well marked in 1906 by the Daughters of the American Revolution using stone markers.
