Positions of candidates on issues should be known by the voting public. We are submitting a questionnaire for you to complete on the important issue of gambling.
Gambling was studied for two years and there have been recommendations in the National Gambling Impact Study Commission's Final Report which can be found on the internet at
http://govinfo.library.unt.edu/ngisc/index.html. Please answer the following questions and return your responses in the attached stamped envelope before October 18, 2002. REFUSE Would you vote for placing the burden of gambling's negative socioeconomic costs of addiction, bankruptcies, crime, corruption, divorces, embezzlements, fraud, suicides, etc. directly on the gambling establishments, promoters, and gamblers?
