Ariel was an owner surrender rescue, and was handled by Mike and Joanne Wright from Raleigh, North Carolina

I'm starting my 3rd year today with Reid and just wanted to let you know how happy I am. I spent most of my year growing hair and eating and sleeping and playing. (You should see me in my Kayak)
Thanks for rescuing me. I am healthy and happy and having a great life. (Except for this diet they put me on).

Update from Ariel and Reid:
Just a note to let you know Ariel is doing well - running the house, growing hair, meeting new friends.
This was the year of the merchandising of Ariel. We have been given Irish Setter mugs, Irish Setter birthday cards, Irish Setter T-shirts, Irish Setter books, magazines, throw rugs, (you get the idea).
Everyone wants to meet Ariel! "It's good to be the queen."
She seems very happy and is the center of our family!
