Astronomy
-
I have been interested in astronomy
since I was 14 years old. I have an 8
inch Meade LX50 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.
We have built an observatory and
incorporated it into a new addition on
our house. A special web site has been
set up so you can see what it looks like.
The observatory is called
Stargate 4173 at Grimaldi Tower.

Photography

I love to take pictures of almost anything.
My favorite subject is the moon taken
through my telescope. With the recent
purchase of a digital camera, there are
no more bounds to the numbers of photos
that can be obtained.

Reading
-
I consider myself a chain reader.
When I finish one book, I start on the
next one immediately. My favorite
authors include Jules Verne, H.G. Wells,
Edgar Rice Burroughs, Isaac Asimov and
Tom Clancy.

Woodworking

I recently completed building a wine
cellar in our basement.
