PJ'S GARDEN

with eyes as wide and beautiful as twin Hawaiian sunsets with lips so poised and precious as an infant's sigh with faith so strong and innocent as a child's belief in god she came to me a stranger and left without goodbye for she spread her wings to fly she knew it was time to start to live her life in her own space a child now grown needs her own place she took off for her life with grace for it was time to start but she left without goodbye because she never left my heart and I smiled the smile that only parents and big brothers or sisters know a smile full of hope and prayers that she would continue to grow as beautifully and wonderfully as she grew as a child if you've been there then you may know exactly how and why I smiled with eyes as wide and wonder-filled as twin full moons at midnight with lips set in a secure smile and confident posture with faith so big and passionate the universe was watching as she stepped out on her own to find what her life was for as she spreads her wings and flies she remains all I adore she lives her life in her own space a young woman needs her own place she embraces her life with grace for it was time for more but she left without goodbye because we never closed the door and she is always welcome in my heart and home and arms she is welcome to my breath my life to keep her from harm and that's the start of her story may it take years to write and a lifetime to complete and may an eternal light guide her through her every day and darkest night she's my gift to the world and her gift to me is being her beautiful self and is being all she can be with eyes as wide and beautiful as the first time you could see the beauty of the universe the wonder of eternity and the passion of the precious promise sung in harmony imagine all the people innocent and free sharing all the world let it be you and me with eyes as wide and wonder-filled as eyes that truly see the beauty of the heart that gives a love that is free PJ's Eyes (So Wide and Beautiful) Ric Candor ©2004 (if you came from behind the candoor)  EMAIL
