I write
to prove to myself I am here
to believe somebody might care
to let out what I want to share
I write
and don't have to feel rejection
it is my benign protection
like seeing my own reflection
when I reach out there's always a chance
that you don't have time
or you just don't want to share this dance
who knows...
you may not like my rhyme
so I write
I don't ask anything of you
I do what I want to do
the words are my dreams coming true
when I write
I can believe I am sharing
I can believe some one's caring
hoping somebody is hearing
the song I sing in silence
when I write
it's what I do
when I don't sleep at night
some cry...
some dream...
