and it inspired this:
J ... thanks for writing ... J
do ya mean http://www.hotstart.com/wp/hotstartanon.shtml
or http://home.att.net/~anonanonanon ?
or somewhere else I might have called Anonanonanon's page J
and who may ye be, K?
(gonna satisfy my curiosity please please please? J)
wanna come to a party this weekend or next?... here's the second invite
(the first is available too, but gives the same info in another babbling
way... maybe you received them already {checking addy book... not
there... checking recently sent mail... not there either... so if I
wrote you first it was at another address... did you find me by accident
browsing?... maybe you found an invitation in one of the email groups or
Yahoo clubs or somewhere else I posted it?... curiosity is gonna keep me
awake} but whether you did or didn't {receive them already}, hope you
come J
the second invite starts now:
* a friend is a stranger waiting to be met *
This is a reminder that you are invited to two parties this month, a fun
(and sober) cards and games party on the 14th and a bigger bring your
own whatever open house barbecue pool party on the 21st... the barbecue
grill and pool will be there on the 14th too... hope you can make it, at
each party we find new friends who were strangers before the party J
The O'Aces party is 6PM on Oct 14th (Sat)... info and maps:
http://home.att.net/~candor/orlando/party/oaces.html
The AOH party is 4PM on Oct 21st (Sat)... info and maps:
http://home.att.net/~candor/orlando/party/aoh.html
At both parties, it's bring your own food or snacks or drinks or
whatever. The barbecue will be hot if you want to put something on it
(preferably food), the pool will be cool if you want to get wet (bring
towel), and the fun will be shared (bring toys, games, friends, or other
amusements if you've got any) J
if you're looking for things to do with old friends or new, we're trying
to make it easy - just join the Orlando Party List for
weekly updates
on local parties and activities... join
Orlando Party to talk to the other
people who might
be at these parties or activities J
a serious note... I realize some of you don't know me or anyone who will
be at these parties... we all start out as stranger though, so don't let
that stop you... I'm new to the area and just looking to find some
friends and I met few others in a similar boat so we're rowing together
and hoping more people jump up and climb aboard (I'll leave the sailing
metaphor now before it sinks) J
I've joined and created online groups and sending this invite to you
because somewhere along the way your words impressed me and my friend
trusts me enough to open his house to everybody I'm inviting (eeek) J
those of you who already know me are probably laughing (or rolling your
eyes) wondering when I'll stop babbling (I can be very quiet in person,
really I can), those of you who don't know me and who are not looking
for friends or a social activity, I don't mean to intude into your
lives... I use my email address book so you're not on any commercial
mailing list or anything... if you want to be left alone just tell me
which email address to delete from my address book (last time the
metaphor I used seemed to scare a few people, so I'm being more serious
this time... of course I can't get too serious cuz those of you at work
couldn't pass this off as SPAM and I wouldn't wantcha to get in trouble
now ya know
so anyway, I'll close this briefer and more serious bit of babble with a
simple wish for a happy healthy day for you, and a hope to see you there
J
if you can't make it or are not into parties, but still are interested
in finding new friends, you can find others who share your interests
through topic specific email groups for Orlando and Central Florida
(there are others in the area who share your interests and the net is a
great way to find them) check out more ORLANDO GROUPS J
and may you find and create more smiles than frowns along your way J
* a friend is a stranger wanting to be met *

Still reading?... thanks J I seem to have more to say... guess I'm
looking for the right words to convince you to come and maybe I haven't
found them yet... searching for the perfect SIG file?... or maybe I'm
just lonely (stop singing those sad songs Harry)... or maybe I'm hoping
somebody will show up and interview me and give me a job just to get me
to stop babbling on in friendly emails J
anyway, here's some other local stuff very worth checking out:

-Computer club and help for everyone
Autistic Children's Holiday Party
--Singers/Songwriters Showcase
-Alcohol-Free Club
ouch
ok, one last social consciousness thing... the Para-Olympics are next
week in Sidney Australia... the Olympic Committee decided not to leave
the Olympic Rings up for another few weeks because the "regular"
Olympics are over... if you think this is a rude injustice, email
Matthew and he will forward your mail to the
Olympic committee (he's sending around a petition, but I very rarely
forward anything so this mention will do...
there, I feel like I've done something good today, thanks for you help

I would like to be your friend
but you say I do not know you
well I know you have a loving heart
and that's a good start (yes, true)
so I would like to be your friend
though you say I'm still a stranger
I say where else can friends from
a ballroom or a manger?
maybe I believe in fairy tales
and the clock has not struck twelve
maybe there's a fascinating thought
into which we both can delve
maybe you understand loneliness
sometimes when you're alone
maybe you still reach for happiness
even though you're fully grown
maybe we can get too serious
and let fear and doubt consume
all the hope and opportunities
will be choose the bliss or the gloom?
hey, it's not time for the tomb...
we still have time to be friends
that's a good thing we can do
people have to start somewhere
so I am inviting you...
a friend is a stranger waiting to be met
a friend is a stranger wanting to be met
a friend is a stranger willing to be met
isn't it all so true?...
a friend is a stranger...
waiting for you
. o O ( J sheesh, it was just supposed to be a short SIG file J ) O o .
. o O ( J hope this inspired a smile J ) O o .
honestly, ric
---end of second invitation, welcome to the rest of this story (wait, is
it a story?... it didn't start with Once upon a time... it's not got a
plot or anything story-like... I haven't seen any characters or
character development... was there a climax yet?... are you still
awake?... perhaps the story hasn't gotten here yet)...
you can find more of Anonanonanon's babbling here:
http://home.att.net/~anonanonanon/letters
and many other places (Newsbee babbles occasionally too, have you been
to his universe?... there's all sorts of other stuff too... a site map
index page can be found at http://home.att.net/~candor/gardensindex.html
though some say some characters need a PG or R or a BIB (inferring I
might drool?... well, sometimes... but it could mean or Banned in Boston)
rating, so if you're among those some, brace yourself (the secret is in
knowing that it's all illusion, even when it gets real... but then, you
might have discovered this aready J
do you mind if I rhyme?
I do from time to time
to tell the truth,
I was raised on Suess
but I don't keep meter steady
or rhyme perfect anymore
then again, I'm not sure
if I ever knew a rhyme for perfect
still I love when it flows
into melodic prose
to tell the truth,
it is beautiful
once upon a time
everything would rhyme
into a sublime
melody
now I do not know
which way I should go
entering the flow
so lonely
it was all so much more fun when it was shared
it was all so much more real when someone cared
there was so much more love when the music played
I don't want to believe it just seemed to be that way
I don't want to believe I just dreamed... yesterday
once upon a time
I could feel the life
that's in everything
energy
beyond life or death
between every breath
peace and happiness
that can be
when everything was shared openly
when everybody cared honestly
there was so much more love when the music played
I don't want to believe it just seemed to be that way
I don't want to believe I just dreamed... yesterday
so another story, huh?... if I knew a little about you I might know
where to take the story and how to involve you a bit so maybe it might
be interesting to you... perhaps you know me and taunt playfull or tease
cruelly... perhaps you were just being flippant... perhaps something
else... anything's possible...
once upon a time
there was a child inside
eyes and arms and heart open wide
then came the abuse
tightning like a noose
a child so confused withdrew inside
complications came
society's game
shame and blame and fame and foolish pride
and worst of all fear
consumes hope and air
leading to despair and the great divide
where you must decide
shall you grow up and play the games
of shame and blame and pride and fame
or will you resurrect the child inside
will you resurrect your child inside
the choice is clear
love or fear
you make it now
you make it here
which is your way
love or fear
is there misery or rainbows
in your tear
choose darkness and misery
or lightness and rainbows
which is your way
the choice is clear
love or fears
misery or rainbows
in your tears
it might have helped if I slept a bit in the past 34 hours, but once
again something comes along to keep me curious and a curius child seldom
sleeps... The Mummy was the background for the rhyme for childinside...
ah, the hopelessly hopeful romantic does lie on after all... sadly, for
some must be left behind due to their choices... but more peacefully and
happily for the choice I make... just trying to keep the customers
satisfied, customer #1 is child...
Anonanonanon is child's favorite toon (Wacko pouts and eats a bologna,
then burps a smile and they all wander off to play with typos and
themselves J
so anyway, child is happy you noticed Anon... thank you... will you tell
me more about you now?... please? J
honest love, ric
