how do I move on through muddy waters without resolution or peace in sight how do I give up on someone I love when I will not give up my love's light I'm challenging myself to move on now though that means settling in the unknown ignorance may be bliss for some it seems but I want more than a blind monotone in the song of my life I want answers I want knowledge, awareness, and peace I don't want to accept ignorance I want to express and release all the love in my heart that's the answer why so many hold back I don't know I want to understand and help them but it's up to them to show all the love in their heart... that's the only want they'll ever grow how do I trust a self-defeating child without settling myself up for a fall I must not depend on them to help me I must be prepared to do it all I'm challenging myself to move on now though that means accepting another's cruel choice one day she may see how she's hurting herself until then I only have my voice to sing the song of my life that's my answer to find knowledge, awareness, and peace I will not accept ignorance I shall let myself release all the love in my heart that's the answer what others do is not how I feel and the best way to understand and help them is to be true to myself... and to be real so I move on through these muddy waters even if that means leaving her behind she refuses all my love and offers she chooses to be deaf dumb and blind I'm not giving up, I'm just not waiting it's time to get on with my dreams one day she may choose to learn, but for today ignorance is bliss for her it seems and the song of my life that's my answer to share knowledge, awareness, and peace I will not defeat myself I allow my release all the love in my heart that's the answer sharing it is the way i must go and the way to be best I can be for anyone is to let my true self show I sing the song of my life now just so you can know all the love in my heart welcome to the new flow as the truth shows the river clears... as it flows Muddy Waters (The River Clears) Ric Candor ©1993, 2000 BACK NEXT  EMAIL
