...THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE... (I HOPE...) THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE... (I HOPE...) THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE... (I HOPE...) THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE...
THE WRITTEN GARDENS...THE WRITTEN GARDENS...THE WRITTEN GARDENS...THE WRITTEN GARDENS
DAWN'S GARDENS
I still look to the dawn for the answers
though the night is my everlasting home
we came together swiftly like dancers
correographed to appear not alone
with a crisp light to shine on my sorrows
she inspired me to actualize love
for a while I was never so healthy
for a while I lived all I dreamed of
and then she was gone
like the setting sun
like the moon behind clouds
like a bullet from a gun
and I keep looking up
wondering if she'll fall
wondering
if she thinks of me at all
I still look to the dawn for the answers
though I shall live and die in the night
at least I can always remember
that once I was touched by the light
Dawn
(Dawn's Song)
