when is it loneliness
when is it love
even your best friends can't
tell you what you're thinking of
when you're attracted
to someone else
the first thing your need to do
is have a long talk with yourself
for if you want because you are alone
then you are just using the other
but if you want her for what she has shown
then you may be in love
that's for you to discover
in your heart alone
in your mind, on your own
when no one is around
when the only sound
is your truth
if you ignore it you're a fool
and you will hurt yourself
for you will depend too much
on someone else
but if you're honest all alone
when your inner truth is shown
then you'll know just how you feel
and you will be real
so let's take our time, we feel the attraction
we know we've both been burned before
it may be just mine, let honest reaction
expose the truth so we can be sure
let it not be loneliness
that brings us together
let it be honest love
that bring us together
and let the attraction
grow as it will
until there is no doubt
