Linville Higgins II was born in Ashe County, North Carolina on April 3, 1819. He was the second son of Juda Kirby and Linville Higgins. He married Sarah Woodrow and they had 7 children: John Higgins, Nancy El Higgins, Jane Higgins, Moses Higgins, William Higgins, Lina Higgins, and David Higgins. Linville's wife Sarah died in Northwestern Arkansas in 1860, and he was killed there by bushwhackers in 1861. |
