John McNabb Will Book B page 163 February 11, 1757 IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I JOHN MCNABB of Lampiter Township Lancaster County & Province of Pennsylvania being of Good disposing Memory thanks be to God and calling to mind the Uncertainty of this life do therefore make this Present Writing my last Will and Testament hereby annulling and making Void all other Wills heretofore made by me either in Word or Writing First my Will is that all my just Debts & Funeral Expences be duly paid ITEM I Will and Bequeath unto my beloved Wife Isabel the third part of all my Real and personal Estate and her Choice of the Cows & Mares one of each and my Will is that she should also have her Bed and furniture ITEM My Will is that the rest of my Real and Perfonal Estate be divided into five Equal parts of which I Will that my Son William McNabb have two and that the other three parts be Equally divided between my three Daughters Ann McNabb, Jane McNabb and Margaret McNabb. ITEM My Will is that after my Decease my Estate both Real and Perfonal be Deposed of by my Executors to the best Advantage for the benefit of my Creditors and Children and that my Childrens parts be put out to Interest and that my Dear Wife Ifsabel receive the Interest of their parts towards the bringing them up and my Will is that the other three parts that I have given between my three Daughters Ann Jane and Margaret be given unto them when they shall arrive at the Age of Eighteen Years or sooner if that they should happen to Marry to be paid to them upon the Day of their respective Marriages and my Will is that in Case of the Death of any of my Children that his or her parts or part be equally divided among the Rest AND LASTLY I do appoint my dearly beloved Wife and Joseph Steer to be my Executors to and for this my Will and Testament IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this Eleventh Day of February in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty seven. June the 20th 1757 BEFORE me the Subscriber came John Kirk & Samuel Rea two of the Witnefses to the within written Will and the said John Kirk on his solemn Affirmation & the said Samuel Rea on his Corporal Oath did declare and say that they were present and saw and heard John McNabb the Testator within named Sign Seal Publish Pronounce and declare the within Writing as and for his last Will and Testament and that at the doing thereof he was of sound & disposing Mind Memory & understanding to the best of their knowledge Observation & Belief. BE IT REMEMBERED that on the 20th day of June 1757 The last Will and Testament of John McNabb deceased was proved in due form of Law and Probate and Letters Testamentary were granted unto Esabel McNabb and Joseph Steer the Executors in the said Testament named they being first duly Qualified well and truly to Administer the said Decedents Estate and to bring an Inventory thereof into the Registers Office at Lancaster on or before the 20th day of July next And also to render a true and just Account of their said Administration when thereto lawfully required.
