Will of Alban McNabb - as written - April 1887

Last will and testament of Alban McNabb dec'd
I Alban McNabb being of sound mind do make and publish
this my last will and testament in manner and form
following what is to say.
First: It is my will that all my just debts be paid out of my
estate.
Second: I give and bequeath to my son Thomas C. McNabb
one two year old mule, one mare and sucking mule colt,
two two year old heifers, it being all the live stock I
own, also my household and kitchen furniture.
I give and devise to my said son T.C. McNabb the farm
upon which I now live, containing about seventy acres,
but he is required to pay my son I.T. McNabb twenty five
dollars, my daughter Mary Ann Burns, wife of Taylor Burns
thirty dollars, my daughter Sara Jane Brock wife of J.C.
Brock twenty dollars - my daughter Elizabeth C. Ledford
Wife of J.M. Ledford twenty dollars - my daughter
Margaret Morris wife of Joseph Morris ten dollars.
The above several sums be paid to the parties named
within three years from my death.
I appoint my son T.C. McNabb executor of this my last
will, and desire that he shall not be required to give
security for the performance of his duties.
In witness I have hereunto set my hand this April 18th
1887.
