Will of Absalem Mcnabb

Absalem McNabb Dec'd.
 

To all whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that I Absalem McNabb of the County of Blount and the State of Tennessee by these presents do make sign and seal this my last Will and Testament to wit.

1st I give and bequeath to the heirs of my daughter Rebecca Orr thirty dollars 2nd I give to my son John McNabb my plantation on which I live to the said John his heirs and assigns forever in law or equity. 3rd I give and bequeath to my son Robt. S. McNabb fifty dollars. 4th I give and bequeath to my daughter Jane Wilsin fifty dollars

5th I will to my two daughters, Martha and Mary E. McNabb all my household and kitchen furniture of every descripation with the right of occupying my dwelling house and Kitchan with a lifetime support from the proceeds of the farm heretofore willed to John McNabb during their naturall lives provided the said Martha and Mary E. McNabb wish to occupy said house with the above named support if otherwise one or both the said Martha or Mary E. McNabb wish to leave then in that case I will that they divide the household property equally between them if one leaves and the other stays the one leaving will get one hundred dollars cash or its equivalent or should both leave then I will them - each one hundred dollars with the above named household which they shall receive as their portion disclaiming the lifetime support above named All the above named payments are to be made by my son John McNabb for and in consideration of the plantation willed to him the said John and his heirs at law or equity forever So Soon as said plantation shall have passed from my passession to the said John McNabb heirs of according to to the terms of the above named Will

6th it is also my will that my property at my death not disposed of in this will Should there be any, be applied to the use of paying my just debts and funeral escpenses if any should still remain I will that the remainder be equally divided between John McNabb Martha McNabb and Mary E. McNabb 7th and last of all it is my will and request that John McNabb my son should be the executor of my last will and testament hereby disclaiming any other but this to which I have and do subscribe my proper signature and affisc my seal in the presence of the undersigned Witnefses this eight day of March , A.D. one thousand eight hundred and fifty two
