Star Trek: Insurrection

 This review is about “Star Trek: Insurrection”. It’s when Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the Enterprise-E visit a paradise that is about to be destroyed by the Son’a. The character data acts funny. There is also a cute little animal.
 

The Lion King

  A lion king named Mufasa, has a son named Simba and he is next in line to be come king. Simba’s mean Uncle Scar works with his three hyenas to try to kill Mufasa and Simba so he can become king. They kill Mufasa and Simba runs away from home. He then meets Timon and Pumba, a muskrat and wart hog, who help Simba forget about his responsibilities and adapts a carefree lifestyle. Later Rafiki, the wise baboon, helps Simba reclaim his true destiny in the “Circle of Life.” The sequel to this movie is called “ Lion King 2 - Simba’s Pride.”
 

Doctor Doolittle

 The star character was Eddie Murphy. This movie was about  a doctor (obviously) who as a child hears and talks to his dog until the time when it gets a little out of hand and his dad gets rid of the dog and he lives a normal life until he starts hearing animals again. I think this is a great movie because its very funny. It would be a good movie for ages 5+ because it has a few curses in it. (only about 3 or 4 )
 

101 Dalmations

        101 Dalmations is a movie for all ages that will keep you pleasantly entertained and interested from beginning to end. The movie has been remade with actors instead of the animated version. The movie was created by Walt Disney and tells about how two dogs paired their owners together. When the couple married, the two dogs had fifteen Dalmatian puppies and they rescued 84 puppies from Cruella DeVille who is just as scary looking as ever. The movie has a happily-ever-after ending. Try not to miss it!!
 

 BABE, PIG IN THE CITY

The holidays are a good time for families to get together and see a movie.  One movie that I've found to be good for families is BABE, PIG IN THE CITY.  This movie will bring laughter and good cheer to both the young and the old.  It is highly recommended by this critic and guaranteed to warm your hearts and brighten up your holidays.
 
 

  Armageddon

 Armageddon is a movie where there is two asteroids are heading towards for Earth and every living thing on this world will die. It’s a wonderful and hilarious movie.I thought Ben Affect and Liv Tylar are really great actors. My favorite part was when they were drilling a hole in the big asteroid.

 I think that a good movie is Star Wars. It has action, fights, comedy, and heroic characters. It’s a good movie because it gets your heart pumping. On a scale from 1-10 I would give it a 50. (off the charts)
 

    The Rugrats Movie

 I recently saw a movie called “The Rugrats Movie”. I think it was terrific. The characters are Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Angelica and Dil. It begins at a baby shower for Tommy’s mom. When the baby Dil is born, Tommy and his friends hate him. The rugrats try to bring Dil back to the “baby store”, but end up on a thrilling adventure in the forest. The film is rated G, so all ages can see it. It is packed with action, adventure, and comedy. I give this movie 2 thumbs up.
 

    Men In Black

 At a time when many interesting  movies do not have the right rating, it is great to be able to bring home a video the whole family will enjoy. The young and the old alike will get a kick out of “Men In Black”. Tommy Lee Jones is perfect as a government agent trying to control the alien population on Earth. Will Smith adds humor to this imaginative and zany movie. He plays a carefree young man who unsuspectingly gets recruited as a M.I.B. agent. After seeing this movie you’ll be wondering if the next person you meet is from this planet. On a scale from 1 to 10, I rate M.I.B. a 9.
 
 

    A Night at the Roxbury

 My movie review is on “A Night at the Roxbury”. People may say that they thought the movie was great, but that wasn’t my opinion about it. The movie wasn’t that great because the two main characters didn’t do much in the movie except bob their heads up and down to music and move their fingers on their noses like they were making a sign. The only reason I liked was because they acted stupid around girls. I don’t recommend this movie to people that don’t laugh easily because there are a lot of stupid jokes in the movie. This movie was given two stars. I think it deserves 1/2 stars.
 

A Bug’s Life

 This movie was about a colony of ants being forced to gather food for a group of grasshoppers.  A character named Flick always tries to make things easier for the ant colony.  For example, he invented a machine that will make  it easier to pick grains from the grain plants.  The ant colony queen and the princess that is about to take over don’t like his inventions.  So, one day Flick had an accident with the food gathering and all the food fell down to a crack in the ground.  His only hope is to get outside help to fight the grasshoppers off.  The outsiders are 2 centipedes, a black widow, a walking stick, a praying mantis, a caterpillar, and a ladybug.  My favorite part of the movie was when the caterpillar got out of its cocoon (and since it ate so much) and came out with tiny butterfly wings instead of big pretty wings.  My favorite character was the caterpillar.  The worst part was when they thought Flick couldn’t make it and they made fun of him.  I recommend you to take some time off and watch it with your family.

Enemy of the State

 “Enemy of the State” is an awesome movie. Its about a man who tries to track down Robert (Will Smith) with sensors because Robert has a disk showing someone killing a man.
 This movie  is filled  with a lot of action and I liked it. On a scale from 1-10, I give it a 8!

Anaconda  and Selena

I Iiked the movies Anaconda and Selena. Jennifer Lopez is  a great actress. In Selena it was sad because she died. Anaconda was very action packed it was great. You should see these movies.

Broadway

 The Broadway musical “CATS”, the longest running show on Broadway and the #1 show in America is still performing to full audiences around the country after 15 years. Not only is their show on Broadway, but it continues to tour the United States and the World with Bus and Truck companies. In 1987 and 1988 my father toured with one of the “CATS” companies. He says that every performance was sold out in every city of every state they went to. The company performance eight shows a week.
 The show has many different styles of music all composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. There are different styles of dancing too. From Rock to Classical. I especially liked the dancing and the costumes.

 I like the Rugrats.It’s a T.V. show. There are six babies and a bunch of adults. I like all of their episodes. The babies names are Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Suzie and Angelica. I like Tommy because he is the bravest baby of them all.
 

   It Takes Two

 Some people like reading but hate watching T.V. Some people like watching T.V., but hate reading. I like both! Reading and watching T.V. I know this wonderful movie “It Takes Two” starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. It’s about these two girls, one rich and one poor. The rich girl lives in a house right near the camp that the poor girl is going to in the summer. The movie is about how the two girls meet in the woods and trade places. It’s almost like parent trap. They try adjusting each others cultures and personalities.  Then they bring each others parents together!
 

Sabrina the Teenage Witch

  Sabrina the Teenage Witch is on every Friday on T.G.I.F. at 9:00 on ABC.  I like this show because it is funny and exciting .  The show is about a teenager that is half mortal and half witch. She does not wan to tell her friends that she is a witch because they will flip out. Her mom is an archeologist in Luma, Peru and her father lives in her magic book. I rate this T.V. show for all ages.
 

Mad Lips

 My favorite TV show is “Mad Lips” on Disney. It’s a game show based on the book series.  If you didn’t know, a Mad Lips is a story with a few words missing. You fill in the blanks with your own crazy words.  The game show has a special game each time, based on the crazy words a viewer put in a Mad Lib. Then, madder than you tests how many words you know. The Mega Stunt shows physical activity. Since a Mad Lib is supposed to have a regular word, you buzz in when you have the right one in Mixed-Up Mad Libs. The winner goes on to the Max to win the grand prize.
             I like this show because of its fast pace and and because it's fun.
 

  Simpsons

 Simpsons is a cool show. It was made in 1988 or 1989. They are still making the show! They normally show it on weekdays at 7:00 and 7:30. They also do it on Sunday at 8:00 on channel 5. The show is 30 min. long. I like it because it is funny and just fun to watch. It is PG. A lot of people watch this show. There are a lot of people. Well it’s a lot of fun and funny. So watch the show!!

 I’m doing a review on the Simpson’s. That show is really funny; the characters are Homer, Marge, Lisa, Margie, Bart , Otto, Montgomery, Burns, Way Len, Smithers,  Ned Flanders, Rod Flanders, Tod Flanders, Maud Flanders and Patty and Selma Bouvia and another couple of hundred.   They are really funny and from a scale of 1-10 I’d give them a 10.

    The Simpsons is a good TV show because it is a funny and interesting comedy for the whole family.  The parents of the show (members of the family) are Marge the mom, Homer the dad, Bart the sun, Lisa the daughter and Maggie the baby.  The show is on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and is on Sunday.  It is on FOX 5 (channel 5) 7:00-7:30.  On Sunday it’s on at 8:00 both times are PM.

 Pokeman

 Pokeman is a very good show that I watch. It is about Pokeman, a category of 150 species, and the trainers that catch them. It is a cartoon. The heroes are Ash, Misty, Brock and a Pokeman named Pikachu. The villains are Jesse and James, also known as Team Rocket. There are other characters, but there are too many to count. A segment of the show at the end, called the Pokerap, lists 30 of the Pokeman. The show is on every weekday morning at 7:00 AM on the WB 11.

Full House

 I am reviewing a T.V. show called Full House. I like it because there are sometimes mysteries in the show. It also has a family that as that has kids of all ages. They have a dog name Comet. The family has no mother(she died). There are nine people in the house. There is Danny, D.J., Stephanie, Michelle, Joey, Jessie, his wife Rebecca and their son’s Alex and Nikie. If I had to rate this show from 1-10 I’d give it a 10.
 

  7th Heaven

 I think 7th Heaven is a great show with a lesson in each episode. It’s all about a Minister his wife and 5 children, that help out at the church, and do community service. The kids also face regular teenage problems in every show. I think it’s a really good show and I recommend it to all ages.
 

     Friends

 This show is about a bunch of friends that go through everyday problems.  Sometimes they even go through unusual problems.  They do some silly stuff.  When they do silly stuff they get themselves into trouble.  The actors of actresses of Friends are Jennifer Aniston as Rachel, Courtney Cox as Monica, Lisa Kudrow as Fibi, Matt Le- Blanc as Joy, Matthew Perry as Chandler, and David Schimmer as Ross.  Rachel and Ross still seem to be attracted to each other even after they broke up.  Joy and Chandler are best friends and so are Fibi and Monica.  Chandler and Monica are also attracted to each other.  My favorite characters are Rachel and Fibi.  This show is on at 7:00 PM-7:30PM.  It is also on at 11:30PM-12:00 PM.  I recommend this show because it is funny and it is a wonderful show.
 

 South Park

 South Park is the dumbest show ever!!! This guy Kenny dies in every episode. His hood is so tight he can’t talk. There is bad language and nothing makes sense. The makers of the show should be ashamed. They put the show on late to prevent kids from watching it but it’s only on at 10:00 and kids still watch it. It should have never have been on T.V.   The characters on the show are crazy.  I remember in one show in order to kill the character Kenny someone famous bit his head off and afterwards he was fine. That’s stupid in itself. There are other disgusting things that I don't even want to mention. Any parent whose kids watch this show should watch it with them to find out if the children should be watching it in the first place.  I hate it and will never watch it again!!!
 

     Places We Enjoy

  Walt Disney World

 I recently went to Disney World and this commentary will be about the rides I went on. The first ride I went on was the Tomorrowland Raceway. Only go on it if you know how to drive. The Mad Tea Party almost made me hurl. The best thing in Toontown was Goofy’s Barnstormer.
 The Haunted Mansion was the best haunted house I have ever been  in. After Big Thunder Mountain, I found that I love roller coasters. There was only one ride in the Animal Kingdom and 4 at Epcot, but there were all terrific. In M.G.M. Studio, I loved everything, especially Star Tours and Tower of Terror. All of these ride and more made Walt Disney World my favorite theme park ever.

Camping

             I like camping because I enjoy the out doors and animals.  I enjoy learning how to cut wood.  In camping you must learn how to make a fire. My opinion is the camping or scouting is good because you learn different survival skills.

 Game Boy Color is better because you need less batteries than Game Boy has color and is the size of Game Boy Pocket. You can see much clearer to. You can use regular Game Boy games on it and it will come out in all colors. It may cost $80 but the cost will come down.
 

 Video Game:  Golden Eye 007

             This is Anthony Velez from New York Kids with a review for a video game.  Goldeneye is a video game for N64.  It is the most popular game also.  It is a shooting game, with over 20 weapons.  It is also capable of having four people go head to head in multi player.  It has 18 levels plus 2 secret levels.  In multi player it has over sixty characters to choose from.  in the entire game there are over fifty codes, cheats, and secrets to earn or find.  If you don’t know , a code is a secret that you could enter in the game in many different ways.  That is the basics of Goldeneye.  By the way I earned everything in Goldeneye.
 

 Donkey Kong Country

         Donkey Kong Country for Super Nintendo is just an ordinary video game but its fun.  There is a mountain and each point on the mountain is a different level.  All the games are a different subject.  For example the first game is in the water.  The second is in the forest.  After you all the way up the mountain the next level is a ship and there is a monster that you have to beat to finish the game.  I mostly like this video game because its fun!

      Super Mario All Stars

                 This video game for Super Nintendo is the coolest video game because it has five games in one!  When you turn it on it goes to a screen where you can pick any Super Mario Game to play. Each choice is an actual Super Mario Video game!  I like this because I don’t have to by five video games, only one.  It has: (1) Super Mario 3 (2) Super Mario World (3) Super Mario (4) Super Mario 2 (5) Super Mario The Lost Levels.  In my favorite game Super Mario 3, you have to beat a number of little games to get to a big castle with the king in it. Then you have to save the king. When you beat a small castle it opens a locked door that blocks a tunnel to the other side of the screen, so you don’t have to beat all the little games. To beat a big castle you have to go on a ship that has cannons. You have to pass the cannons and go through a tunnel that leads to the monster that you have to beat.  Then you go to the next level.  This is my favorite game because there are cool secrets and powers to make Mario turn into things.

Video game review-Mario Kart 64

 Mario Kart is a car racing game where you can race against other players. you can have up to 4 players to play. When you turn it on, you can pick how many players you want to play (you can also have 1 player) and what kind of game you want to play.
You can play Mario GP,VS or Battle. In GP, you race against all the players. In VS you race against the other player you are playing with.In Battle is when you try to pop another one’s balloons. After you pick the game you want to select a player. There are 8 players:Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoish, D.K., Wario, Boswer.Then you select a map to play on. They are all different, and some can be very hard. I like it because it’s fun!
 
 

   My review of Toy Story (the video game)

 “Toy Story” the game for “Super Nintendo” is  fun  and hard at the same time. I’ve only gotten up to level 4 ( that’s how hard it is!!) It is one of the most hard/fun games I have in my collection. Level 4 is the first boss and I can’t seem to beat him. I really like this game.

 Okay, most people like video games. They can be fun to play. There are a lot of types like driving/racing, RPG, action, strategy, and much more. The cheapest place to buy video games is a Funcoland. The only problem is the game is used. You could also find games at Toy”R”Us. There are a lot of locations. There are also different systems like N64, Play Station, Super Nintendo, Nintendo and more. The best games for graphics are probably N64. If you like good controllers then N64 is your best bet. It is also good for mostly other things you you can get a Play Station. You will probably find a store were they sell games near you.
 

Review On Golden Eye For Nintendo 64

       It is a game where you are James Bond 007 you have to pick up weapons.  You have missions to accomplish but Russian soldiers are shooting at you.  They also shoot things or people that you need for missions therefore you should shoot them.  If you get a mission failure, you have to abort because you won’t be able to complete the level.  There are 20 different levels.  For each level there are three stages of difficulty: Agent, witch is witch is easy, Secret Agent, witch is medium difficulty, and 00 Agent witch is
hard.  There are also two Secret levels: Aztec and Egyptian Temple.  You have to beat all the levels in Secret agent to get Aztec level and beat all the levels in 00 Agent to get the Egyptian temple level.  You may also play the game with two, three, or four players.  When you play with more than one player, each person chooses a character to be.  The players can shoot at each other and eliminate each other.  If  you have already completed various levels in one player mode, you get more levels and more characters in multi players.  There are also Cheat Options.  You have to beat levels in record time to get them and you can play around but you can’t beat levels with them.

My Favorite video game: STAR WARS SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE

 The game is for NINTENDO 64 system.  This game is designed for one player, so only one controller is needed.  The first level is the Battle of Hot.  It is a time of crisis.  Imperial probes, scouring the galaxy for the hidden Rebel base, have discovered their secret outpost on the remote ice world of Hot.  You play as a snow speeder.  There are 4 different kind of difficulties Easy, Medium, Hard and Jedi.  The rest is up to you may the force be with you!

Might I add Goldbreges 173 winning streak is over because of this.
