Sterling Blue
Sterling Shot was born 7/16/2007 @ 9:58pm. He decide he would make his entry a hard, for he came out breech.
Sterling Blue joined his family in Nebraska. He is getting along with everyone well. Check out the updates from his new family.

Hi Allie,
Here is a picture of Sterling trying to get Buck to play with him.
Sterling seems to be adjusting. I think partly because Buck, our Great Pyrenees,
is here to amuse him. He had a good day yesterday. There were no accidents in
the house and he slept until 6:30AM this morning. That was great!
He is taking to his kennel and went in on his own for a nap this morning. He
does protest when he gets put in doesn't want to be ?but he figures out real
quick that howling (yes he howled) and whining won't get him out.
He is really funny. He was trying to get Buck to play and made Buck bark at him.
He wasn't used to such a deep loud bark. He ran under the table when he heard
it.
Hope you enjoy the picture!

Allie,
As for the cats, One of my cats, the male, is very tolerant. He could care less
who comes in. My second cat, his sister, was very cautious but didn't get ugly
with him. The third cat, well, she went into hiding for a few days until I was
able to lock her out of the rooms she was hiding in. She has hissed at Sterling
a few times and he doesn't know what to make of it. He stays away from her. The
cats won't play with him but they are not hurting him and have started to accept
that he isn't leaving.
Poor Buck doesn't have the energy to keep up with him. He plays with Sterling
once in awhile but Sterling never gives up. He is always running circles,
literally in circles, around Buck trying to get him to play. When all else fails
Sterling grabs Buck's tail and starts tugging.
He hates the puppy food and is always trying to get at Buck's food. I started
mixing them hoping he will get some puppy food in that way.
He is pretty smart and very active. He loves to jump off the porch (only two
steps). He is picking up on the going outside issue but I can't get him in. He
loves to run away from me but I can tell him to stop by making harsh noises and
he will wait for me to pick him up. He is very docile when picked up. Anyway,
that's enough for now...

UPDATE: November 7, 2007
Hi Allie,
It's been awhile since I've sent you any pictures. I finally downloaded my
camera so I figure I better get some off to you.
I have some really nice pictures of Sterling and Buck. It just cracked us up to
see Sterling standing on Buck's back.
He is growing like a weed. We had him to the vet about two weeks ago and he was
over 7 pounds. I know he has gained at least another pound by now.
He hasn't reached that gangly puppy stage yet. He still looks like he did when
we picked him up - only bigger!
Sterling is still giving me a hard time with his shyness. If the smallest thing
happens he wants to run away. The other day I was playing with him when he
whacked his nose against the door. He did it himself and then ran from me as if
I had done it to him.
On a lighter note, he thinks he belongs in my bed. I don't know what he would do
if I put him back in his bed. He knows how to make sure he isn't lying in the
way but he really wants to have a pillow or fluffed up blanket to lie on.
Take care...
Helen
