UPDATE: November 3, 2008
Hi Alexa,
I know exactly how you feel! I always need to know how things are going and how they are doing!
She did great on the flight. She actually slept most of the time. Of course, my Mom held her in the car on the way home. She did not act the least bit scared. She seems to be very content to be held! The kids were very surprised and excited. She really seems to love them. She was all over my youngest Abby this morning before school. And of course Abby is loving that. This morning when I went to let Casey outside she actually got down and play growled and jumped at Casey!! Casey was pretty amused at that! I did kennel her last night, but I put her in my room in case she got scared, etc. Didn't hear a peep out of her all night!
So, things are going really well. She is a very sweet girl and has been very easy so far! She is getting constant attention and loving it! Thanks for trusting me with her!
Talk to you soon!

UPDATE: November 10, 2008
Hey girl, sorry I haven't emailed! She is doing great. Boy is she full of herself!! We finally decided on a name. Of course it had to be a majority rule. Anyway, we named her Brooke. Seems to fit her! And she is already responding. She has no apprehension with the other dogs. I didn't want to overwhelm her so was slowly introducing her. HAHA! She just took off and runs right up to them (like she is as big as them) and jumps on them and growls and barks at them! Too funny. They look at her like she is crazy!! They all like her and are playing with her very nicely. She is defiantly full of energy.
We are really enjoying her and she is being very pampered! The potty training started really well but the last couple of days not as good! But we are working on it.
She really has an obsession for going in and looking at the newborn puppies! Of course I go in and start doing something with them and she comes with me. She follows me around all day and gets so excited when the kids get home or the others come in to play.
Don't worry she has adjusted way better than I expected. I will take some pics soon and send them to you. I thought about it last night when she was playing with Cree and actually had her pinned down! (Brooke on top of Cree)
Anyway, she is currently chasing Cherry around the den right now!
Talk to you soon,
Bethany
