The pump is the heart of a system. In order to assure reliable delivery, it is vital that the pump can reliably handle a potentially corrosive liquid. This the reason we custom modify our pumps to assure predictable and reliable results. These modifications come from years of knowledge and selling thousands of pumps and while I will not go into our specific modifications, the following will outline issues regarding some other models available.

First, all pumps are NOT the same. Our pump is manufactured by Shurflo, one of the largest suppliers in the world. They offer hundreds of models with different components to suit individual applications. Each has it's own purpose, design, motor, housings, cam, valve, switch, hardware, armature, brush, etc. It is important to understand that improper selection of the pump and its internal components can lead to pump and system failure. Some companies advertise the use of a WATER/alcohol mix due to potential issues with the valve inside the pump. It is imperative that this valve is made from materials that can tolerate a steady diet of alcohol, while providing sustained high pressures.



Secondly (and this is an important one), some of the smaller motor pumps employ a thermal circuit protector on the red lead into the motor. Problem? "If” the temperature of the motor reaches “x” degree’s, power is interrupted. This is an example of the $1.00 part that can potentially cause damage in the thousands of dollars. Be assured our pumps have no thermal limiting device.



Next is fasteners. We employ updated, locking stainless steel fasteners for our pump heads to prevent corrosion and vibration- related failures. These fasteners are then torqued to our own in-house specifications.

Next is debris. The unit is fully disassembled. The armature and magnet assemblies are inspected and bearing clearances established. The case is then sealed in order to protect the armature and bearing assemblies from water, dust, etc.)

Next is electrical. We wire a custom weather pack plug assembly to the pump. This not only assures proper connections, but also affords the convenience of speedy removal in case of debris contamination or simple servicing. 

Finally, the pump is subjected to a pressure test of 250 PSI, proper current draw and leaks.

Once it passes the above tests, it gets our logo and the user can trust that it will operate properly when installed and feel confident it's the most reliable injection pump on the market.

As an extra step we offer a 1 year parts and labor warranty on repair/replacement of the pump.
