Hopefully, starting in 2008 I will be holding a monthly photo contest on this page. From entries received by email, I will show thumbnails of the photos here, and people would vote by clicking on a particular image. When people click, their vote would register and they would see a larger version of the photo along with a caption. Once I select which pictures are in the contest, the public votes, American Idol style.

The monthly winner will be shown on this contest page for the whole following month. In addition, the winner will be listed on my "past winners" page with an optional link to their website if they happen to have one.

How to enter: If you'd like to enter the contest, send me an email here, with your picture attached. The picture should be about 500 x 400 pixels, and by sending it to me you attest that you took the picture and own the rights to it. If your picture is chosen to be in the contest for any given month, I will get in touch with you by email to ask for a caption that people would see when they vote for it, along with your name and hometown (and optional website URL) in case you win.
