Every time I passed by the Clark Pond Fishway in Milford, just a mile from our house,
I told myself there's a nice picture to be taken here under the right conditions.
The chain link fence protecting the property was always in the way, though. When the
foliage was right, a stepladder allowed me to shoot over the fence. It was just after
September 11 and luckily nobody stopped this dark-haired bearded guy climbing ladders
and taking pictures.
