I started making the copper hearts in 1990 to demonstrate the embossing process for an educational program.
Mentoring the beginning classes during my workshops, the participants have to make their own copper heart to become familiar with the basic steps for metal relief sculpture.
This project is a successful analysis about the process of repousse.

Throughout the long history of making this series of
the copper LOVE HEARTS,
I have realized that many art collectors have purchased my work for its unique personality and craftsmanship.
I am continuing this project for its popularity.
