The Ravenous Rhinos had not been to The Chart House Restaurant in many years. After meeting one of their new managers, Jim catching a quick bite at another local watering hole, we decided to check the Chart House out.

The Chart House is located at 2024 West First Street , Fort Myers with a beautiful location on the Caloosahatche River near the Downtown Area.

The night we came the lights were twinkling through the many glass windows overlooking the river as well as on the old fashioned Christmas Tree. The glow on the polished wood and crystal cast a warm magical glow over the diners enjoying their meals. We felt right at home with the friendly greeting we received upon entering.

We had drinks at the bar and tried some of the Sizzling Mushrooms. These were a large serving of whole button mushrooms sautéed and seasoned nicely. The bartender, Gail was pleasant and attentive. We are looking forward to enjoying more of the varied menu.

The Menu is a nice balance of fish, chicken and meat entrees which are served ala carte, which range in price from about $15 to about $25. Side dishes are reasonably priced in the $4 range and often times serve two people. A Salad or the Salad Bar can be added for about $4 also. The entrees were generously sized from the meals we did see served nearby.
