Bush Inaugural Parade

After the inauguration ceremonies, and after a long wait to escape the penned-in area I watched the ceremony, I grabbed a quick bite and found a staging area for floats, horses, and other participants. I spent about an hour sheltered under the Hubert Humphrey building waiting for the parade to proceed.
The first float in the staging area

The second float, representing Texas. A float for Wyoming followed.

Choppers, the air kind and the two-wheeler kind, soon followed.

A sizable float for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Had I had my camera better prepared, I would have gotten a better shot earlier.

Crossing the Delaware float. The underdressed (climate-wise, not scantily-wise) Red Hot Mommas from Idaho followed
