Twenty two members volunteered to serve breakfast to Wounded Warriors!!!

As a small show of appreciation of Wounded Warriors and the great sacrifices made by them and their family members, NDTA members, non-members, transporters, non-transporters and family members united at the Operation HomeFront Village, San Antonio (OHV-SA) on Saturday morning, November 22, 2008, to donate their time and resources to prepare and serve pancakes, bacon, fruit, tacos, orange juice and coffee to about 40.  OHV-SA is located at the Republic Woodlake Apartment Complex, 7027 FM 78, San Antonio, approximately 5 miles from Brooke Army Medical Center and The Center for the Intrepid.  Ms. Gracie Broyle, Transition Assistance Coordinator, and the wounded service members and their families expressed great appreciation to our volunteers for taking the time to recognize them and their families with a "wonderful pancake breakfast."  link to Thank You Card

The San Antonio Chapter A-35s thank everyone that helped and look forward to the next volunteer event.  (SSgt Regina Green, Chapter A-35 Chairperson, arranged for the event but was unable to be there.)
