Commanded a joint military/civilian-staffed brigade-level strategic transportation organization responsible for water port operations, ocean cargo traffic management and contingency planning support throughout the Pacific and Asia. Managed an operating budget of $32.7 million and supervised the execution of $22.7 million in major government contracts.

Principal staff assistant to the Commanding General and staff in planning, coordinating and supervising all transportation support for a 14,000 man Airborne Division, to include plans and orders, highway regulation and movement control procedures. Participated in the planning and execution of operation Just Cause, the invasion of Panama.
