Sasaprarilla, Sweet Pea, Spike & Sneak

Sasaparilla: A delightful little chocolate girl of about 5, Sasaparilla came to us named "Jasper."  She had been left with her owner a few months previously by a friend, and the owner couldn't even tell the differrence between a boy and a girl.  We found the PERFECT Foster home for her and her young friend Jake with a couple who were interested in both adpting and Fostering.  They adopted Jake and are Foster Parents to Sasaparilla.  they're happy, we're happpy, and we're sure Jake and Sasaparilla are happy in a real, loving home, too!

Sweet Pea:  Approximately 5, Sweet Pea arrived at FACT in obvious need of adrenal surgery.  However Sweet Pea's affected gland was too wrapped up in blood vessels to remove safely.  Sweet Pea will remain under watchful eyes in case her adrenal disease symptoms become so severe that the benefits outweigh the risks of surgery.

Spike: Is a HUGE chocolate male!  Spike had been found, malnourished, by his owner. He since made up for it, apparently eating everything in sight until he eneded up weighing a solid 3 pounds.  The owner gave him to the shelter when her allergies became too much to take -- unfortunately for 5 year old Spike, she found it easier to give him up than give up smoking.  Spike has a bad habit of nipping to get attention. spike5.jpg (2456 bytes)

Sneak: Taz’s best friend. A tiny terror, Sneak is one of those ferrets who likes to be INVOLVED. Sneak climbs, runs up and down stairs, and STILL likes to take a nip at your socks.Sneak is a VERY energetic 5 to 6 years old enjoying her pampered life with her dedicated foster mom.
