INSTALLATION
Prior
to
installation:
If
you already have
an "Astro" font installed from another Astrology
package, you may need to uninstall that font, back it up and
remove it from your font directory. (Note that the this Astro
font was the first bit-map and outline font for the PC, and has
been in use since 1986.)
Make sure that no other programs are running while installing the program,especially any Anti-Virus.
Astro-World
Installation:
The whole package now consists of a single program,
ready for immediate installation.
To install the downloaded file, copy the file into a temporary directory (e.g.: C:\Temp) and run it (or double click on it in Explorer):
After opening the application Awrlde, carefully follow the on-screen instructions.
If you are an unregistered user, and you don't have unlimited use, the new Astro.ini file can be copied from the install folder (default = C:\Astro23e) to the Windows folder (in Windows 98, this is usually C:\Windows).
If you encounter any problems with Astro-World, please read the chapter Troubleshooting / known problems in the internal (on-line) Help file ASTRO.HLP. If you have problems installating or running the program, read the file AWINSTAL.TXT in the Astro-World Directory.

| The ZIP package consists the
folder locations containing the necessary files for running the program and has
been tested on windows Vista. To install the files using WinZip, extract all of the files to the root of the drive containing your operationg system (usually C:). To install the files using Windows Explorer, simply extract all to the root of the drive containing your operationg system (usually C:). Before using Astro World, you MUST make Astro World Compatible with Windows 98. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder C:\ASTRO23E (if drive C: is where your Windows operating system is installed) and right click on ASTRO.EXE.
