THE DIAMOND STATE CHAPTER'S NAME HAS CHANGED

The Diamond State Chapter has changed its name to the Brig. General Bill Spruance Chapter. The Air Force Association recently approved the change.

FOCUS ON AVIATION - MAY 6, 2005

The Brig. Gen. Bill Spruance Chapter and Wilmington College will hold the annual FOCUS ON AVIATION on the top floor of Wilmington College's Peoples Library in New Castle, Delaware at 7 p.m. on May 6, 2005.

BRIG. GEN. BILL SPRUANCE CHAPTER ACCEPTING AWARD NOMINATIONS

The Brig. General Bill Spruance Chapter is accepting nominations for awards that will be presented at the May 6, 2005 FOCUS ON AVIATION. The awards are the Miss Mary Biggs Award for Excellence in Aviation Community Services, the H.B. DuPont Award for Excellence in Aviation Maintenance, the Louisa Spruance Morse Award for Outstanding CAP Achievements, the Richard C. (Kippy) Dupont Award for Excellence in Education and the Troy Sponagle Award for Execellence in Flight Training.

Submit the nominations so that they are received no later that April 1, 2005, to Harry Ven Den Heuvel, 116 Autumn Horseshoe, Newark, DE 19702. Nominations should not exceed two double-spaced pages, and must include the full name, address and telephone number of the person nominated.
