THE FLYING/AVIATION CADETS ARE MARCHING
OFF INTO HISTORY.

This great program ended for the Airforce pilots in 1961 with William F. Wesson as the last Pilot Cadet.
The complete end of the Air Force program came on March 3, 1965, when Stephen V. Harper, the last Navigator Cadet, earned his wings and commission.
The Navy program ended, more or less, in 1968 with a few classes on into the early ‘90’s.
For over 50, young men were able to fulfill their dreams of becoming a military flight officer through this program.
The Cadet program was the great equalizer!
It didn’t matter if you were a rich kid or a poor one, if you could stand the rigors of the program, you would, one day, proudly wear your wings.
Sadly, a way of life has disappeared.
Once there were young men, inspired, honorable, truthful, disciplined, dedicated to the protection of this great Nation.
Look around you, today !
How many young men or women do you know who could do what we have done?
We still remain, the last of a breed !
