(NOTE: All measurements are estimates. Dino and Pebbles are more interested in playing with the ruler rather than being measured.)
Dino and Pebbles live with their two-generation, human family in Security, Colorado. Their primary human is David, who serves them in a multi-role capacity as parent, personal valet (litter box), waiter (meal preparation and service), playtime companion, and personal assistant (other needs). If additional or special attention is required, they turn to their human grandma (sometimes grandpa). Grandma's special attention is normally a lap and some sweet talk. Like all cats, Dino and Pebbles have nominal control of the household. They have set aside space for catnaps, cat surveillance, and play. They have also set the daily routine - mealtime, naptime, sleeptime, playtime, "when they want your seat" time, and other activities. And, of course, they are able to get away with certain other things by using their "sweet kitty" looks. Dino and Pebbles are natural brother and sister, having come from the same litter. Though related, their individual personalities are quite distinct. Dino is an outgoing type of cat. Very friendly, a good visitor. He's a hard charger when it comes to play, but needs a companion for this activity. Pebbles, on the otherhand, is more cautious when visitors come by. She's very protective of her territory. Even though she has not ventured outside the house (except to the vet's office), Pebbles doesn't care for any outdoor cat to cut through her yard. She knows how to play hard too, but doesn't require a companion all the time. Yet, anyone can tell that Dino and Pebbles are related. Both are good at being lap kitties until they've decided they want your place on the sofa or recliner. Both are extremely good at being insistent, needing attention right now without delay. They are good at checking out objects, new and familiar. If there's a hint of another cat scent, both want to check it out at the same time. And, they can be quite clever. When waiting for their meals, Dino and Pebbles will engage in some play. It may involve chasing the each other from one spot on the kitchen floor to another, may be some paw waving at each other, may be a little wrestling. Or, may be a little grooming that's in need. It just depends. Certainly, more can be said about these two cats. But, then, again, they need to maintain their mysterious, mystical ways of being siamese cats.
