A MESSAGE FOR OUR AUDIENCE
The Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra is starting its 26th year of providing free concerts with world-class soloists, an unprecedented achievement on Long Island. The Orchestra’s success is made possible by the Massapequa Public School District which provides space for concerts and rehearsals, by the Orchestra members who donate their services, and by audience members who have contributed generously over the years. Recently there has been significant cuts in our funding from NY State, and cost increases for soloists, piano transportation and tuning, music purchases, programs and brochures, and other incidental expenses. Therefore, it is essential that all our listeners make a contribution so these outstanding free concerts can continue. Please use the attached form to send a gift to the Orchestra, and then bring your friends, children, and grandchildren with you to the concerts. When you support the arts you are giving yourself and your community a gift that lasts a lifetime and beyond.
