The three boys look to one another for support as they struggle with their personal issues -- Joe's big brother is in Europe, Tiger's dad is a cop who has developed a drinking problem, and Chris is a target for bullies since he's overweight. When Joe reads some open mail in his house that leads him to suspect his parents haven't been honest with him about a trip they're planning while he's away at baseball camp, he and his friends hit the road for Philadelphia to find out the truth. While Joe, Tiger, and Chris try at first to make the 60-mile trip on their bikes, the fates have other plans, and they soon turn to hitchhiking. The boys are picked up by a grubby guy named Rascal (Michael Dean), who en route sticks up a convenience store, and the three runaways aren't sure if they're hostages or accomplices as the police begin looking for them and Rascal at the same time. REVIEWS OF COURAGE & STUPIDITY
"Courage & Stupidity is a short comedy written and directed by Darin Beckstead which draws its inspiration from the legendary events surrounding the filming of Steven Spielberg's 1975 film Jaws . This wonderful story is brought to life by the superb acting talents of Todd Wall as Steven, Aaron Fiore as George, and Kahil Dotay as Richard.
This is a brilliant film which builds on the numerous stories relating to the near disasterous malfunctions of the shark prop used during the filming of Jaws . Beckstead presents us the story in a way which is at the same time familiar and refreshing, not only are we treated to a comical glimpse of what may have transpired during this career forming period for Spielberg, but Beckstead also deftly weaves into the story a multitude of references to other works by the famous director.
While the trailer for this film is online at the official website the only way to see the entire film is to buy a copy on DVD. I highly recommend that you purchase this film, Courage & Stupidity is a fantastic example of independent filmmaking and should not be missed. If you still aren't convinced by the trailer alone then you can see the first eight minutes of the film which is being hosted at iFilm."

"...Shot on 35mm, it's visually lovely, with crisp colors and sharp contrast. That alone helps the film stand out against the torrent of short films that don't have the budget for film. The acting is also impressive. Each performer does a strong job of capturing the feeling of their real-life counterparts, without getting lost in impersonations... ."

"COURAGE & STUPIDITY-This film is a witty short based on a young Steven Spielberg and His struggle to complete His film JAWS. Todd Wall gives an impressive and noteworthy performance as a young Spielberg, He even looks like Him. Wall is joined by Aaron Fiore who stars as a young George Lucas, and yep...He looks and acts just like Lucas . Amazing casting is probably the reason this film is getting so much attention right now. And since this film is based on Jaws We also get to see Richard Dreyfuss, who is played flawlessly by Kahil Dotay. Some of the funniest moments in the film come from Dotay and His dead on Dreyfuss impersonation. The main reason I enjoyed this film so much is that it was a Fan Film paying homage to the creators, rather than just their creations. Another fine example of this would be the short GEORGE LUCAS IN LOVE (check it out if You haven't already). For all of You Movie Buffs out there see if You can spot the little nods to Spielberg's other films hidden in the films dialouge. Everybody loves a good film about the underdog fighting the good fight and coming out on top, This film does that and more. One of My favorite moments in the film is when Spielberg is trying to convince producers that His film will make people afraid to go in the water again (now We know how it all started). This brilliant short film was written and Directed by Darin Beckstead and brought to You by Ranchero Entertainment. See this film today and discover the behind the scenes turmoil that made JAWS happen. One Fanboy thumb way up! Check out the official site for the film here www.courage&stupidity.com and order a DVD!"

"...Check out the trailer. Believe me, you will get hooked, whether you are a Spielberg fan or not. The performances are outstanding , the direction is top notch and cinematography...well let's say instantly you will get the feel of Jaws from it. Stay tuned with us as we will be covering this film intensively for the mere reason that it deserves it..."
Review by Dreamworksfansite.com
"...The film takes place in the 1970s during the filming of Jaws. Steven, played by Todd Wall, shows through his body language and dialogue, the increased pressure from the studios to produce a shark movie with a robotic shark as the main prop. But on a rainy night, Steven and his friend George, run into trouble with the mechanical "star" which results in more delays and doubts that the film will ever be made. George Lucas is played by Aaron Fiore and with Todd's performance, both actors give a convincing performance of these two pioneering directors..."
by FanFlicks.com
"... With its amazing cast, beautiful film quality and a killer story to boot, this looks to be a must-have for Spielberg and Indiana Jones fans alike ."

"Aaron Fiore has the talent, charm, charisma, not to mention appeal! He is what you would call, "destined for the stars" Sound Cliche?... Not for Aaron...It will only be a matter of time before you see him walking on the red carpet, watching his dynamic performances on the big screen, and fantasizing about him as if he were Brad Pitt. Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy REVIEW
Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy

Uczkowski Productions presents a Kim Sky film

Review By Brett Schwan.
Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy was produced, written, cast, and directed by Kim Sky. If she doesn't deserve credit for taking on all those roles, she certainly deserves credit for releasing a very enjoyable movie.
The movie follows the life and loves of Sandy Gold Piedra, played by Nicole Brier. Sandy is the daughter of legendary pro wrestlers Rocco (Don The Predator Frye) and Diamond Piedra (April Hunter) who always thought that Sandy would marry a pro wrestler and have wrestler children.
The film does a great job of introducing us to the main characters at the age of 12 and picking up on their lives ten years later.
Nicole has to choose between her cheating ex boyfriend, Monster (Ken Yasuda), and her long time admirer, Marty Shalom Weinstein (Aaron Fiore). Once she makes her decision, everyone ends up in the ring in some way, shape, or form.
The wrestling scenes focus on two matches, Monster v Roxanne (Laurer) and Rockin' Bull (D. Vine) v Marty. The best part of the matches is the commentary and comments by Gino Caruso and Red Hot Russ. Their constant use of wrestling terms and insider comments and bickering are very funny, even more so to the die hard wrestling fan.
Scattered throughout the movie are other wrestlers including Josh Daniels, Slyck Wagner Brown, and Jay Santana.
I'm not quite sure what the point of the more than flamboyant gay best friend (Selassie Amana) who gets man raped (off camera, thank God) by Joanie Laurer (while her boyfriend Vic D. Vine encourages it) is, other than to show some not so great acting. However, the rest of the performances and story make up for it.
Nicole Brier shines in her portrayal of Sandy Gold Piedra and Don Fry and April Hunter are excellent in their small roles as her parents. Ken Yasuda also does a good job in the role as Monster. In addition, all the younger actors, playing the lead roles at age 12 are outstanding. Some of the funniest lines and moments of the film are delivered by them and they deserve a lot of credit.
If you are a fan of romantic comedies, this movie is for you. If you are a wrestling fan, the movie is worth it just to try and find what wrestlers you recognize in each of the scenes.
What Meatballs II did for summer camp movies, Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy will do for wrestling comedies!

Role playing
by Kyle Mulligan
"...There is no turning back" is the tagline for M. Night Shyamalan's latest spine chilling release, "The Village." While that line may be meant for those intending to see the film, it also applies to a particular cast member."...professional actor, Aaron Fiore, plays a young villager in the upcoming thriller, which opens nationwide this Friday. Filming for "The Village" cast Fiore on the set with notable Hollywood names including Joaquin Phoenix, Adrien Brody and Sigourney Weaver. But for Fiore, it's all in a day's work. "I usually keep pretty busy, doing anything I can," says Fiore. "Whether it's commercials or other advertisements, as well as roles in movies or TV shows." Fiore has landed lead roles in such films as "The Pink House," "Steam Cloud Rising," "Assassin Nation" and "The Date," and smaller roles in "Townies," "Youth of a Nation," "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood," "Anger Management" and HBO's "Sopranos" and "Sex and the City," according to the Internet Movie Database. When he's not traveling around the country trying to get exposure, Fiore takes time to help out his fellow up and coming actors by operating The Actor Network (www.theactornetwork.com), a free, non-profit website designed to give actors a place to communicate easily. The site boasts message boards for actors on both coasts, thousands of links to other acting websites, books on acting and much more."It's a way for other actors to get information for themselves and not get scammed by anybody," says Fiore of his website. "It started with my communication through e-mail with other people, and my mailbox just became overwhelming."........"Keeping busy certainly won't be a problem for Fiore. His upcoming projects include a lead role in an upcoming wrestling comedy entitled "Pebbles." [ Now titled Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy] Production is scheduled to begin later this summer. Filming for his latest work, "Courage and Stupidity," in which Fiore plays a young George Lucas, has just recently wrapped up.The future is bright for this local villager.
The Quadrangle
Playing the Man Behind the Light Saber
by Jessica Mathis
"Aaron Thomas Fiore is an actor and just landed a great role. He'll be playing a young George Lucas in the film Courage and Stupidity, filming in January/February 2004 at Universal Studios in California. This feature is a comedy about the making of Jaws and what Steven Spielberg had to go through to make the film, and will probably go straight to video. Aaron has been acting for ten years, but began taking it seriously as a career about seven years ago. After only a year or so of trying, he has been able to join Screen Actors Guild (SAG-the primary union for film actors).
"I actually started by going to school for production. I was working with things like location scouting and then switched over to acting," Fiore said. There are some downsides to joining SAG even though many actors believe it to be one of their main goals. "The week I joined SAG, I had to turn down $3000 worth of work, because it was non-union." OUCH! Performers should give careful consideration and make sure they are ready before joining the union. In Los Angles it can be an enormous benefit, but in smaller markets that offere mostly non-union work, it can be more harmful than helpful. SAG does have benefits for actors in their regions. They require productions to offer actors a guaranteed rate of pay, residuals, overtime, food on set and even great health care benefits if you work often enough to be eligible for them. Fiore did some theater in college and community theaters, but his main focus is film. "There's no money in theater," he admitted. He does believe that all actors should do some theater, especially in the beginning. He explained that it can help develop their skills as a professional actor. All actors should take scene study classes to learn how to portray their characters and develop relationships. According to Fiore, performers should study different techniques and find what works for them. Acting for theater is different than acting for film, and performers interested in film should take classes that focus on camera work as well. Fiore is currently an East Coast actor, which means he does a lot of traveling. Actors have to go where the work is, so Aaron travels from his home in Pennsylvania on a regular basis, driving an average of 2-5 hours on each trip. His late 1999 model car now has 151,000 miles on it. He does most of his acting in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and North Carolina and currently has eight agents in different markets.
"I still need that New York agent, though," he sighed. He would like to find one that is bi-coastal, as he is about to make the big move to Los Angeles. Things have been going pretty good for Fiore, though. He's doing what many people dream of by making a living with acting. He's rising in the acting industry and feels his biggest break for exposure is the role of George Lucas in Courage and Stupidity because he's sure that Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, two of the biggest players in the film industry, will see it. There are many different opportunities for film actors. There are short and feature films, commercials, television, industrial videos (i.e. company training videos) and documentaries. Don't get stars in your eyes just yet, though. Acting is a lot hard work and an average work day for an actor can be as long as fourteen hours, sometimes more. Fiore warns beginners: "If there's anything else you want to do in your life...do that. You have to make so many sacrifices. It has to be a burning desire." If acting is what you want to do more than anything else and you're willing to put forth the necessary work, then Aaron says the most important thing you can do is treat it like a business. Treat it like any other job. It's a career and you have to take it seriously in all aspects from tracking mileage to networking and staying in touch with people. A lot of the time, it really is who you know. The rest of the time, it comes down to hard work. "You have to give 200% or you won't make it. You also have to plan to fail more than you succeed." Fiore feels so strongly about treating it like a business that he feels one of the most important classes a beginning actor can take is an acting business class. "There are just so many scams out there." Actors should never have to pay for casting information. They also should not pay agents upfront to represent them. For payment, agents receive a percentage of the actor's wages from work they find for the performer. Agents are important and can help bring in work, but no matter how many agents an entertainer has, they should still look for work on their own, according to Fiore. An important business tool for actors is the headshot. It is the first impression casting directors and agents get of the performer. A headshot is an 8 by 10 inch photograph that is a close up of the actor's face and is submitted to casting directors and agents. There's no way to have a perfect headshot, as some casting directors prefer just the face, while others prefer a 3/4 shot of the actor's body. "I would say, it's good to have several different versions," Fiore suggested. "The most important thing is to make sure they look like you and look professional." Fiore does a mass mailing of headshots every six months , sending about 200 of his headshots to different agents and directors. He follows up every quarter of the year with postcards that have his picture on them. In addition to his mass mailings, he also sends headshots to individual production companies for specific projects. Where does he find the addresses? The internet, state film commission websites, and trade publications like Back Stage and the Ross Reports are some of Fiore's methods. "I use them pretty routinely...the Ross Reports definitely." Casting directors and agents receive such a large amount of submissions constantly that many of them are never even opened. One way to help get your headshot seen is to use Quick View Envelopes, which have a large window that exposes your picture through the window. "Anything to make yours stand out," Fiore said. "I used blue envelopes once and I got a lot of calls for work on those."
Getting yourself noticed is hard and an important part of acting, but the audition is the part that will actually land you what you want: a role. It's necessary for actors to have both a comedic and dramatic monolouge prepared, but the dreaded "cold read" causes problems for a lot of performers. A cold read is when an actor auditions using the actual script or something they have never seen before. "Learn to do cold reads," Fiore stated firmly. "Pick up magazines and read the ads outloud for practice. [When auditioning] go in there like you own the place, but in a nice way. Be confident and act like you already have the part." Although acting can be a tough business, it can be a lot of fun. Fiore worked on a film about firefighters and said that every one on the set was pretty serious, but the last day of shooting they got into a huge water fight with the fire fighting hoses. "It was fun to see everyone break loose." Aaron had one final piece of advice: "Never give up, if you know it's what you want to do. If you go to 100 auditions and don't get anything and then quit, you may have gotten something at 101, but you'll never know."

Celebrity Profiles December 2003
Char: It says on the I.M.D.B. that your dad was strict. In what way was he strict? , And how did that effect your life?
Aaron: It took me years to over come. Strict is putting it mildly.Oh well. I would not want to wish the mental abuse on anyone. Those years put my self-esteem at an all time low. When growing up your parents are suppose to encourage you. What my father did was the opposite. I was told I was stupid (amongst other things I would not like to get into here) on an almost constant basis. On the flip side, it made me more determined to prove him wrong. If you were to ask "What one thing moved you to peruse acting?" I would say "My Dad” I picked probably the hardest field you can choose to pursue and am succeeding more than 99 percent of those out there. To this day, when someone says you can't do something...I say "Oh yes I can" and go and do it, but not only do I just "do" it but succeed more than anyone ever expected .Oh welI. I make an effort to work harder than anyone else to accomplish it!
Char: What Indie films did you do?
Aaron: I don't really concern myself, nor look at a possible job in terms of whether it is an Indie film or not. I am not about money (although you do need this too LOL.) If I like a script and the company has their ducks in a row, I will do it. I have done numerous Indie films. Too many to name. Technically George Lucas's company is an Indie company. Follow me LOL
Char: What type of landscaping do you dabble in?
Aaron: The Internet Movie Database tends to be wrong from time to time Oh well. I don't know how that got on there. I actually did landscaping for 3 years as a regular job.... but then, as a typical actor, name a job I haven't done . Now that I am a full time actor, those jobs are just memories . I can't say I really dabble in it; it was a job to pay the bills at the time.
Char: You mentioned that you're on location filming when you called what is the name of the project that you are working on?What is your role?
Aaron: I have done 3 commercials and have been working on "The Village" a Disney/Touchstone Film. The Character I play is "Young Man Villager". I have been working for about a month and a half now on this project . Due to contract agreements, can't really discuss it.
Char: What inspired you to get involved in kickboxing?
Aaron: Might sound weird but to relax. Gets all that bad vibes and bugs out of my system.
Char: You did a film with John Travolta, What did you learn from working with him?
Aaron: Honestly, the thing I admired/learned the most about him is not related to his acting but his people skills. No matter who you are he makes you feel important and that he truly cares about what you have to say. I think this is what has kept him where he is. A skill everyone in any field could learn from.
Char: Describe an average day?
Aaron: There is no such thing in this business as an average day.
Char: So Iam learning.
Aaron: Varies from day to day. I can say this.... I spend 10-18 hours/7 days (If not more) a week doing something related to my career. But when you truly love what you do, is it really work then?
Char: What type of music do you enjoy listening too?
Aaron: I like all types. Don't really have a favorite. When I am traveling to an audition or meeting, I will listen to classical or Neil Diamond. It seems to relax me. When I accomplished something great I listen to heavy metal or rock. Guess if I had to pick it would be early 80's bands like Pet Shop boys.
Char: You have your own website and contact information do you manage your own career?
Aaron: For the time being I "manage" myself. No one will work harder for me than me. I do freelance with multiple agents but don't have a manager. Until you are Tom Cruise, I don't think it in necessary. An agent will suffice. Any contracts are run through my agent though.
Char: What aspects of this business do you like?
Aaron: That it's not a 9 to 5 job. Everyday is different and exciting. You never know what is around the corner for you.
Char: What aspects do you dislike?
Aaron: To put it bluntly...the Kiss-asses and sugar coaters of the acting world. On the actor side, you have those who are nice just to get something from someone, on the other side you have people that aren't honest with people, saying their great when really they stink. If people would just be themselves it would be a better environment. But you have this in any field.
Char: As I have discovered. What have you done to change those things?
Aaron: I set the example, what you see is what you get. If someone asks me a question, I tell him or her the truth directly. If they like what I have to say great. If you don't Great too, but at least they know it's the truth.
Char: I couldn't agree with you more. Thank you Aaron.

Spotlight on Actor Aaron Fiore
by Mala Wright
"Imagine yourself being one of the stars of an upcoming cable series. Or imagine yourself being the person behind a large internet site dedicated to networking actors. Imagine yourself being an actor and making a living out of it. For Actor Aaron Fiore, he doesn't have to imagine these scenarios. This is his life and it's so hard to believe that he was once shy. But it was the shyness that prompted him to make a change. Upon entering college at Keystone College, Aaron vowed to make a change. So what's the remedy for a case of insecurity? Getting involved with theatre and the world of acting. At Keystone, Aaron was a Theatre/Communications major. He didn't start out with being on stage initially. He got his first taste of the theatrical world by being a behind the scenes person. He was a stage manager. But on opening night of one production, his stage manager's duties took on another role. "I had to read a smaller role on stage," said Aaron. And this experience literally changed his life. Since then, Aaron found his niche in the theatrical world. He later went on to audition for the musical production, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. He nailed the part of Schroeder. And, with a chuckle, Aaron pointed out he is not a singer. However, the director liked his talent so much despite the fact. "We worked around the singing." So, Aaron was apart of a stage production, but this time he was an actor. After his stage appearances, he again accidentally stumbled into the spotlight. This time Aaron was an intern, doing production work for television commercials. And, he booked a commercial production job for McDonald's Food Restaurants. Since then, Aaron's resume has grown and become quite full. He has appeared in lead and supporting roles in independent films such as, Back to Manhattan, Steam Cloud Rising, Misdirected, The Date. And he has also appeared in major motion films such as Warner Brother's The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood and in the upcoming Buena Vista/Disney feature, Ladder 49. His television appearance include principal roles on the Discovery Channel's The New Detectives, FBI Files, and on daytime television's Maury, along with numerous industrials and commercials for such companies as The Girl Scouts of America, Commercial Bank, Coke, Silver Diner and The University of North Carolina. This East Rutherford, New Jersey native now makes his home in the New York City area. However, he travels the country to film and currently is preparing for the upcoming television series, Life in General, where he has a leading role. This upcoming series is in major talks with some big names and will debut to TV audiences internationally soon. Because of his strong dedication to the business, Aaron also does a lot of traveling for auditions and film shoots. He is always on call by his agent, and oftentimes has to leave “at the drop of a hat." Aaron is currently working on the feature film, Courage and Stupidity filming at Universal Studios . Aaron plays a very young version of Film Director George Lucas. The film is set in the year of 1974, and it tells the story of up and coming film director, Steven Spielberg. Courage and Stupidity stars Hollywood legend Robert Culp and Dharma and Greg's Mitchell Ryan.
In between auditions and acting jobs, Aaron runs the nonprofit website, www.theactornetwork.com, or TANC as known to its members. This website is for actors, and it is a networking vehicle for finding work and actor related resources. Aaron conceived the idea of TANC as a result of networking with other actors online. These online actors were exchanging pertinent information in reference to acting. They all emailed each other on a regular basis, but never really knew each other. So, as a result, Aaron decided to get everyone together in one forum. Aaron looks at hosting TANC as a way of "giving back" to those who have helped him. Very soon, TANC will be doing TV production and a film festival. The website has links to all the TANC members' websites. There is a bulletin board that is a plethora of acting auditions and resources. The website has 1000 acting related links. And, there is a brag sheet showcasing TANC members' acting accomplishments. The funds for running the website come out of Aaron's own pocket. Aaron describes being an actor as having a 24-hour job. One works hard and often has to make sacrifices. But, putting in the long hours and the doing all the hard work is what Aaron does. There have been times when Aaron would drive for 12 hours to get to an audition. He used to book acting gigs and get up early to work on the set all day. Then, he would have to work the third shift at night. He would do all of this without sleep. But, Aaron got through it and he achieved his goals. And this is what got him where is he is today. He believes actors should do something in acting each day to further his or her career. "Write goals and make a time frame. Basically, do a little each day." Writing goals and visualizing them can help an actor stay focused on the art form. And, even though one may not get an immediate return on the goals. One needs to know what he or she wants from them. He also believes that actors should never give up on achieving the goals, no matter what happens. Aaron makes investments in himself. Aaron will take acting classes and workshops to hone his skills in between auditions and bookings. And, he has studied his craft with Actress/Acting Coach Tammy Arnold (Coached such major studio films as Big Fish Summer Catch Black Knight , and The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood Casting Directors from Mike Lemon Casting and the American Studio of Acting. If you had to describe Aaron Fiore with a multiple-choice question, what would the answers be? Actor. High-Achiever. Inspiring. Helpful. Hmmm....which one would I pick? All of the above.

Steam-y screening
by Megan Rowlands
" Harrisburg filmmaker documents Three Mile Island disaster
Fortunately, Northeast Pennsylvania was far enough away from Harrisburg to avoid the direct aftermath of the Three Mile Island power plant accident in '79, the most disastrous nuclear plant mishap in American history. However, the region will get a sense for what it was like to be in Londonberry Twp. on that fateful day, when the Endless Mountains Theater in Dickson City screens "Steam Cloud Rising," a feature film based on the T.M.I. nuclear meltdown, on Sun., Oct. 10.Written, produced and directed by Harrisburg native Eric Spaar who lived near the plant during the incident, "Steam Cloud Rising" was filmed in and around Central Pennsylvania and T.M.I., which can be noted in the direct shots of the plant's cooling towers. Filming required Spaar's crew to shoot on and around plant grounds."Steam Cloud Rising," Spaar's first feature film, is the dramatic, coming-of-age story about a popular high school jock, Hugh, who wrestles with his own sexuality as a gay man in rural Pennsylvania in the 70s. Hugh is forced to choose between keeping his image as a straight guy and his friends, a group portrayed as homophobic Neanderthals, versus showing his true colors and coming out in his community. Hugh, played by Philadelphia actor Clayton Diesel, is also a member of a citizen's group who is actively concerned that the plant is not being run properly. To their dismay, their questions are unanswered, their worries belittled by local politicians and T.M.I. representatives. The film also stars Cesario Tio as Kabold, an openly gay high school student whom Hugh befriends, and Greg Walloch as Winston, a disabled gay man who runs the citizens group and is secretly in love with Hugh. ...Actor Aaron Fiore also appears in the movie as a student. The theme of Hugh's closeted sexuality runs parallel to the nuclear disaster, which slowly unravels and, eventually, results in a meltdown that nearly mirrors that of the plant. The film examines the difficulties faced by gay and lesbian teenagers who are tying to come out within their communities, and also what happens when citizens' concerns are ignored by their local civic and community leaders. After the screening of the 91-minute film, ...
Aaron Fiore is the supporting character of Tommy Koerner. Movie stars Michael E. Knight from All my Children and Michael Bolger form Third Watch.

Character of Trooper Carlton in History Channel's Movie of the Week Combat Jump ®
The film's focus is the 505th Airborne Infantry: its organization, training, and combat debut in Sicily in July 1943. The training reflected highly on the regiment's CO, Colonel James Gavin, later a lieutenant general and one of the unsung heroes of World War II. But no amount of good training could completely counter the bad weather, faulty navigation, and limited intelligence that eventuated in the jumpers fighting Tiger tanks with bazookas. Scattered as it was, the 505th reorganized and carried out its mission, in the process so disorganizing German units that they could not carry out theirs. Its casualties were serious, but its success won paratroopers a permanent place in the American arsenal. Based on the novel Combat Jump: The Young Men Who Lead the Assault into Fortress Europe written by Ed Ruggero
