Served aboard destroyers as Communications Officer, Operations Officer, Navigator and deck officer. Liked going to sea, but hated the paperwork. Won the Atlantic Fleet "C" and "E" for my ship. Also made Naval History by forcing the Staten Island Ferry to give right-a-way when returning to port after a long deployment. Confirmed "kill" of the carrier USS Nimitz on my watch in Fleet exercises. Polished entirely too many shoes and belt buckles, which I still refuse to do to this day. Served aboard the USS Rogers in the Pacific and the USS Fiske in the Atlantic.

To my father,
and to all veterans.

Thank You!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the men and women for their personal sacrifice to ensure the safety and freedoms that many Americans take for granted.

Without you we wouldn't have the freedoms to which we've grown accustomed.

It is people like the veteran that make the United States of America great.
