• Rod Allred ... Passed away Dec. 18, 2006. He leaves behind two daughters. After serving his country, Rod went on to earn his BA and MA in English. He taught high school English and poetry, then became a principal and school administrator.

• Charles "Chuck" Jackson ... passed away in 1995

• Diane Albright ... Died in 1997 of cancer

• Willis DeYoung ... Died in 1973 after fighting a battle with leukemia

• Judith Diane Franks ... Died February 25, 2000

• Joseph Denton Hasdorff ... He was killed in Vietnam on June 12, 1968. Joe went to Vietnam voluntarily and was recognized for his bravery upon his death.

• Bonnie Sowell ... Died in 1995 of cancer

• Alta Tatroult Foster ... passed away in 2005 of cancer

• James B. Tolbert ... Died January 4, 1999 in an automobile accident

Class of 1966

• Wyatt A. Arbaugh ... Wyatt passed away after heart surgery in April of 2000.

• Rick Chabot ... Rick drowned in a river in Munich in 1968 in an attempt to save his friend Troy Hutto. I think of that day a lot and I remember it well. Rick was my roommate at the time. I witnessed his heroics on that sad day. Rick and Troy were my two very best friends. With sadness, Patrick

• Connie Platz ... Died in an automobile accident in 1969

• Tom Taylor ... Died 1 1/2 years ago of a heart attack

• Mike Snyder ... died of cancer on Jan. 23, 2008, after a brave fight. He remembered fondly his friends and classmates from Augsburg, and we were able to attend his class reunion in Missouri a few years ago. Mike enjoyed a long career with IBM in Rochester, MN. He leaves behind friends who loved and admired his quiet strength, as well as three children and one grandson, as well as his parents (Col.) Arthur and Faye and siblings Tim, Janet, Matt and Tim.

• Joe Calloway ... died from heart disease. He is survived by his wonderful wife Georgia and several grandchildren.

• Charlene Martin ... Died in the 1990's of cancer

• Marion DeAngelo Clark ... She passed away September 8, 2008 after a motor vehicle accident. She is survived by her four children (Danny Paladino and Lori Paladino from her first marriage and Christopher Clark and Taylor Clark from my first marriage. Marion and I combined our 2 families into one on June 8, 1991... John L. Clark

• Patricia (Pat) Sowell Bunnel ... sister of Tom Sowell, passed away from colon cancer  March 10, 2000

• Allan L. Vazquez ... DECEASED: 1994 - MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS * Since leaving Augsburg -  UNITED STATES ARMY/MILITARY POLICE -  POLICE OFFICER/LAUREL, MARYLAND -  PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER (CROSSED TRAINED IN POLICE & FIRE WINSTON-SALEM, NORTH CAROLINA -  PARALYZED VETERANS OF AMERICA/FLORIDA * Joy brought to his life CHRISTIE  (DAUGHTER) - GRADUATED VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY 2001 -  PENN STATE 2001 - 2004 (LAW DEGREE)

• Steve Christensen '70 ... brother of Pete and Paul Christensen, Died September 1999 of cancer. Steve, 48, was a  graduate of Killeen High School, Killeen, Tx.

• Maresh Mike "Moose" Abel '71 ... 2001

• Manfred Sides '73 ... Graduated in '73 from Augsburg. He was in the Navy for 12 years, from October '75 until July of '87. He died of a massive coronary and is survived by his wife and four daughters.
