Favorite Augsburg memory: We moved there in Dec. '73 from Monterey, CA. (Cramerton) I hated it. My sister Donna became captain of the cheerleaders and that year I was on the JV football team. My favorite memory was a game against Wuerzburg at the field on Sheridan Kaserne. I was running a pass route on a run play and noticed the W-burg cornerbacks eyes widened. I looked backed and the younger Flynn brother had broke past the linebackers and it was him, me and the W-burg cornerback. No one threw cross body blocks (even way back in '75), but I had read about them in an old (1940s) football book, so I threw one on the W-burg cornerback and Flynn scored a touchdown. The coaches were thrilled. I got another helmet sticker and was leading the team in "helmet stickers." The next week, I broke my collarbone in half on an end of practice play I got to call and sat out the rest of the season. As a receiver, I had scored some touchdowns, but that block that scored Flynn is my all-time favorite Augsburg memory.
Friends I'm are trying to locate: Anyone. In retrospect, it was a special time.
Since leaving Augsburg: Left Augburg in the summer of '76. Graduated from high school in MD in '78. Went to Cornell University and got a BSEE in 1982. Got married in '92 and divorced in 2000. Spent most of the 90s traveling the world doing international telecom negotiations for the USG. Currently a non-lawyer partner in a D.C. telecom law firm.

Favorite Augsburg memory: I loved my four years at AAHS...the football games, booster bus rides, being in the musicals, playing on the Golf team, AYA dances, The Falls, the annaul carnival across the street, Fryar Cirlce...it was all great!

Since leaving Augsburg: I am an investment officer at a bank in Milwaukee, WI. I have been married for 20 years to Jeff, a graphic designer. We have two children, Ben 15, and Olivia, 12. I have now lived in the same place for 20 years - hard to believe for an Army brat!

Favorite Augsburg memory: Had a great time.  Teachers were great.  Computer training was years ahead of its time.  Did Football, Soccer, Wrestling, Band.
Since leaving Augsburg:   Graduated R.E.Lee HS Franconia, VA 1978; graduated University of South Florida, Tampa, FL, BS Civil Engineering (Structures)1983; US Army C O Engineers 1983- 1986, 3rd AD 23rd Engineer Bn(back then) in Hanau, Germany; MS Civil Engineering 1989 at University South FL. Been working as a structural engineer since 1986 (mostly roads & bridges).  Married 1984, 3 children 1986, 1989, & 1992 (boy-girl-boy).  Live near Tampa, FL.
