Since leaving Augsburg: Moved to North Carolina. I have been a private duty nurse for the last 15 years.I have 3 horses 1 which is a Tennessee Walker. Married but no children.

Favorite Augsburg memory :   I can tell you that I had a great time in Germany, Augsburg in particular.  I can't be specific about too many details because I am not sure the statute of limitations has run out.
Special friends I'm trying to locate :   You know who you are.
Since leaving Augsburg :   After leaving Germany in 1973, I managed to flunk out of several colleges.  I worked in a textile mill for several years and decided maybe I did want an education after all.  I got a BS in accounting, a masters in quantitative methods, and then went on to something easier - law school.  Unfortunately, I have spent the last 12 years working as a lawyer, tharting justice for the masses.

Favorite Augsburg memory: I have many fond memories. Many fun ski trips, festivals all over the area. the Christmas Market, the Junior senior prom in Neu Ulm and at the Drei Moran Hotel. the Olympics and the many days sitting and drinking on the river. The trips I made with the Boy Scouts and Explorers..Football trips to Berlin and else where. Bravaria and especially Augsburg will forever hold a spot in memory and heat.

Since leaving Augsburg: After Augsburg and returning stateside I finished High School at East Jefferson in Metairie,La. I attended the University of New Orleans..Missing Germany I joined the Army and after completing MP school was assigned as a Tower Rat in the area of Kirschhiem-boladen,Gerbach.After spending about 15 months there I was sent to Wuerzburg where I was assigned to WHITE HAT Duty. Basically a COP. After my hitch was up I went back to New Orleans,La where I joined the Harbor Police I worked my way up to Lieutenant while continuing to serve my country in the reserves and guard. I got married and had a lovely daughter named Meredith Danielle Freeman who still resides in Metairie with her mom. I was divorced and moved to Marietta Georgia. I'm employed by Cobb County Police Department and am working as a Field Training Officer. Have been here since '89. I've recently remarried to a wonderful lady named Roberta. I now have a son Nikos whom I'll be adopting later this year. I was reviewing this site and noticed that my e-mail address was old and I want to update it. If anyone remembers Frank Mecca have him give me a call.

Favorite Augsburg memory: Really enjoyed my time in Germany. Liked going to the Back Door coffeehouse. Sports events.

Graduated AAHS: 1975 from Nuremberg American High
Favorite Augsburg memory:   Humanities class with Helen Wichowski, the trip to Florence, Italy,  Edward Albee's "The Zoo Story"- the work of Ms. Helen Wichowski's drama club. Anyone remembering this production is encouraged to write me. Have audio tape of professional production- will duplicate on request, the mock election in the movie theater where we elected Shirley Chisolm for President, EFFE, the Experiment in Free Form Education, when Paul Hamel spun the tunes, gym class and Mr. Greenspan's moustache, hearing about the Munich Olympics, George McGovern for President, the crack down on kissing, typing class- which I still use every day- the band practices in the "quanset hut," the bus ride to Neu-Ulm.
Since leaving Augsburg:   Now working part time- trying to land full time professorship. Just graduated with Ph.D. in Modern European History (late bloomer, I guess)
