for 30 year to the same person, 3 children and currently 3 grandchildren.

Favorite Augsburg memory:
My best memories were of playing soccer for AAHS. The away games were great,
especially if we traveled by train.

Graduated from ACS Athens, Greece. Retired from the Navy in '94. Work for
Learjet in Arizona. Married to my best friend and have a weird son.

Favorite Augsburg memory:
I rode the bus form Ulm by way of Leipheim and finally arrived in Augsburg.
Since leaving Augsburg:
My dad retired to Columbia, S.C. Graduated from the University of S.C. Married
Phil and moved to various states because of my husband's job. I have a six
year old daughter who will be starting first grade this fall.

Favorite Augsburg memory: I
remember nights at the AYA, field trips, going to the "senior gasthaus,"
spending time down at "the falls," going to the carnivals, going to a
club downtown to see the "Kingbees." I remember one trip where
we traveled down to Livorno, Italy to watch the boys play football. I felt it
was a magical time, and I am so glad that I was a part of it. I have
missed everybody through the years and wished we'd all kept in better touch,
particularly Phyllis Van Lith, Paul Van Lith, Evie Toto, Jeannie (can't remember
last name), Dede Bammer, and so many others. I saw that several of my old
friends had left messages and I intend to get in touch with them. my brother
recently went on a business trip to Germany and took a side trip to Augsburg.
All the Kasernes, the high school, the housing areas, etc., all vacant. He says
it looks like a ghost town, although they are slowly allowing German nationals
to live in the old quarters. The internet is wonderful, isn't it? Sorry I
missed the reunion, hope to catch the next one!
Since leaving Augsburg: I
moved to San Antonio, Texas after leaving Augsburg, married in 1971, have two
daughters, and now one granddaughter, 2 months old. I spent 2 years in Alaska
while my husband was in the service, and then we moved to Sugar Land, Texas
where our kids grew up, then moved back to San Antonio where I am a freelance
court reporter.
Comments: I love this
site. I really didn't think I would find anything when I typed it in
and clicked on "Go." It's like finding long lost home and family
again.

Augsburg and Germany. Emma Garcia and I were best friends. We enjoyed the AYA
trips and dances.

Remember more of Augsburg Jr. High School-only
attended AAHS for part of 9th grade. I remember an 8th grade
teacher--Wallace Acker---does anyone know what happened to him?
Since leaving Augsburg: I moved to Michigan after AAHS to finish high school there.
Attended university in Michigan and then moved to Australia. Then back to
the States--New York , New jersey,Forida then the Pacific
Northwest--Portland. I live in Vancouver Washington right now.

Favorite Augsburg memory: There are many great memories but the best was playing at the old Roman
riverport. I was active in Boy Scouts, made Eagle, and walked to Munich (53 miles)in one day.
Friends I am trying to locate: Bob

Since leaving Augsburg: My family returned with many to Ft. Riley, KS duirng Operation
Reforger. I have roughnecked in the oil fields of Texas, ran my own commercial fishing boat and worked as a pipefitter at Texas refineries. Then I went back to college, got my BS in Marine Biology. I have been an environmental and marketing consultant for 20 years. I now live in San Antonio, TX with my wife Michele and 2 teenaged daughters. I travel extensively with work and for pleasure.
