Favorite Augsburg memory: Going downtown with friends and, of course, those visits to Louies'. The AYA was a big part of all our lives...dances, socializing, etc. Loved attending the dances at the AYA. Loved my time in A'burg where I made many wonderful friends. My favorite memories were of various functions at the AYA.
Since leaving Augsburg: Recently remarried and moved to Australia.   Have two wonderful grown sons living in Maryland, ages 36 and 34, awaiting the birth of the first grandchild. Worked for 30 years at the Harford County Library in Maryland. Retired after 28 years with the Library to make the move to Australia....now growing flowers, walking on the beach in the mornings and getting involved in local organizations.   It's a good life!

Since 1996 I've been the Director of Butterflies Child Development Center where I spent my days with 224 children. Favorite Augsburg memory:  Since I lived in Ulm and commuted to Augsburg by bus every day my favorite memories are the great times we had on those bus rides and some of the ways we found to pass the time.  
Since leaving Augsburg:   Served two years in the US Army from 1967 to 69 one of which was in Korea. I went to Penn State and Spring Garden College and graduated as a Mechanical Engineer. I am currently working for Lockheed Martin, M&DS in King of Prussia, PA. I have been married since 1971 and have two sons, one in college and one who graduated in 2003.

Favorite Augsburg memory: I only attended the first 2 months of my freshman year but I also attended Augsburg Elementary. It was an exciting and impressionable time of my live. I am surprised by how much that short period of time has influenced me.

Favorite Augsburg memory: Only at AHS for a year and a half. We rotated early going to Ft. Benning where my Dad went with 1st Cav to Vietnam. Lots of great AHS memories. Most vivid is Coach Glauner playing "Apache" in the halls on Friday before a football game.
Since leaving Augsburg: This is an update from my earlier entry. I transitioned from Active Duty in July 2000. Travels with the Army chronicled on that part of the website. After leaving active duty, served 3yrs with Dept of State and have now moved to working with Coast Guard Intelligence in Virginia Beach.

Was in bad auto accident in mid 70's and couldn't work for a year, so I went to a technical school and got a degree as a computer programmer. Been working at that ever since. Currently live in Midvale, Utah. Have gotten close, but never married.

History: I came to Augsburg from Orleans, France. This was my second time there, I had also attended elementary school there. I was in the Red Cross club and did a lot of volunteer work at the hospital. I was just ordinary, quiet and kinda shy, so I just blended in. But I guess the thing I wished I had done was be more outgoing, now that I'm older, I realize that being bashful is a handicap sometimes.
Since leaving Augsburg: I'm married to the same man for 32 years. We have one daughter, Donna, who graduated from the U S Naval Academy. We have two grandchildren, a boy and a girl. My husband works for AT&T, is hoping to retire soon. My father Retired from the Army at Fort Knox, KY and is living in Radcliff, KY. I worked for Civil Service at Fort Knox after graduation. There met and married Dale. What brings the most joy to my life? My family and my church.
Unfulfilled dreams/ambitions: None, my life has far exceeded any expectations I ever had. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, a great daughter and son-in-law, and two loving grandchildren. The church has been my support through losses and illness, and I know that where I am in life, is where God intended me to be.
Comments: Y'all have done a wonderful job with this and I truly have enjoyed finding out that there are real people out there, I didn't just imagine these folks!!

Favorite Augsburg memory: Senior Class President, on football team. My most distinct memory is of riding the bus to and from Ulm where I lived.
Since leaving Augsburg: Four years active Army in States, Germany (Friedberg), Vietnam, following graduation. Business and law degrees from FSU and mostly pro-cosumer utility law practice with state and own practice in Tallahassee since. I'm divorced with shared custody of two sons, ages 13 and 10.
