Favorite Augsburg memory:   I lived in ULM and I remember the bus rides and train rides with all of my classmates.  In Augsburg, I enjoyed cheerleading, games, AYA activities, and yes, even the scholastic events.

Since leaving Augsburg:   I married a Texan - that says it all.  Seriously, I have two daughters, I've enjoyed a career with the U. S. Postal Service.  Presently, I'm the Business Customer Relations Mgr. for the State of New Mexico but near retirement.  Upon retirement, I'll move back to the family ranch in Texas.

Favorite Augsburg memory:  We lived in Ulm and had to travel back and forth to Augsburg by bus We had many adventures on those trips. Plus all the great friends I made.

Since leaving Augsburg: I married my High School beau, who was in the service at the time. We have traveled all over the world and have three girls who have given us four great grandchildren.

Since leaving Augsburg:  Graduate nurse, married COL Robert W. Carpenter, Jr., one child, Bruce Robert Carpenter Hardy, Bob died five years after we were married.  Married Clyde Murff"TEX" Hardy, a fellow Episcopalian. Lived in Highland Park, Dallas for many years, now own and am vineyard master for the Alexander-Murff Vineyards in Menard County, Texas.

Favorite Augsburg memory:   Senior skip day of '60. Most of the school was there with us. The school was brand new my Freshman year '56 and I was the first student to complete all 4 year's in that school. Made a lot of friend's there, and have very fond memory's of everyone.

Since leaving Augsburg:   We moved back to Phoenix, Arizona and this is where I met and married my husband in Oct. of '61. His job kept us on the road more than the Army did. Our son was born in Dec. of '62, in Arizona and our daughter in Oct of '64. in New Mex. Welived in Az, NM, COLO, MICH, BACK TO COLO, FLA. LA. and now in NC. I'm an Installion Supervisor for TEKsystems a telecommunications Company, thanks to my husband who passed away in Jan of '93. So. now I dote on my 6 grandchildren (all my daughter's) and ride a Harley. All in all I've had a very blessed life with the exception of losing my soul mate so soon.

Favorite Augsburg memory: I lived in Ulm and traveled by bus each day. I played on the football team and was voted all USAR Defensive Tackle. Graduation Night!!!

Favorite Augsburg memory: The AYA trips to Garmish, skipping school to go to the downtown indoor swimming pool. The hanging around the snack bar, bagging groceries at the commissary and the dances at the AYA.

Since leaving Augsburg: Joined the Army in 1960 and retired in 1980. Flew a business jet and helicopter for a private family in Abilene TX for four years. In 1984, started flying an EMS Helicopter for University of Virginia till 1989. Since then I have been flying for Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. My wife, Joyce and I were married in 1963 and we have four children. Mark born in 1964, Michelle in 1965, Monica in 1970 and Melissa in 1975. We now have, as of March 2000, three grandchildren, Nicole, Paiten, and Jonathan. Please contact us if you plan to be in the area and we will be glad to show you around DC, Phil, NY, and here in Virginia.

Favorite Augsburg memory: Attended Augsburg Am. High my freshman thru junior years.  Good memories of Mr. Valli's science classes, retreats at Garmish and Berchesgarten, dances at the teenage club, riding the bus to Leipheim with my friends
