I am a student at The University of West Florida and I am an Accounting major. Yup, that's right, a "number cruncher"!!

I have many interests. But, above everything else, I LOVE hockey!


Of everything Pensacola has to offer, I think the biggest (and best) attraction is the Pensacola Ice Pilots.

Like many people in the area, when I heard the Ice Pilots were coming to town in 1996-97, I thought, "This is really dumb. Hockey in Florida? Are people crazy? Who's going to go to an ICE hockey game in Pensacola?"

Well, January 17, 1997, I became one of those Pensacolians that attended my first game. And now look at me, I can tell you more about hockey than I ever imagined. I LOVE the game (and not just ECHL), all levels and all teams...just give me a hockey game and a team to root for, and I'm content! :o)

As I've already mentioned, I'm a fan of more than just the ECHL Ice Pilots. Thankfully, the NHL seasons begins sooner and ends later than the ECHL season. So, when Ice Pilots Hockey is over, I cheer for my favorite NHL team...The DETROIT RED WINGS! That's right...I'm a true "Wing Nut"! :o)

Although hockey is my biggest passion, there are many other things in life that I enjoy.

I love photography, and many of my favorite photographs are included in these pages. I also enjoy gardening...I love to watch flowers bloom and I adore the little bugs (ladybugs, inchworms, catapillars, butterflies) that I find in our garden.

Music has always been a big part of my life too. I grew up listening to country music, but now I realize I missed a lot of great music, and my taste in music is now changing. I took acoustic guitar lessons for four years, and I can still play a little bit after a lot of practice.

I am also an artist. I work with pencil and my subjects are mainly flowers.

FAV. PLAYER: Nick Lidstrom, Brendan Shanahan, Steve Yzerman, Sergei Fedorov...oh, just one? Nope...I like the whole Wings team. :o)

FAV. THING TO DO ON THE WEEKEND: go to hockey games (ice pilots), but i'll settle for watching the red wings on espn!
