Experience:

Responsibilities was to operate a combination vehicle with a 53 foot dry van trailer delivering dry freight around the US on time. Was responsible for the vehicle that was assigned to me was properly maintained and safely operated on the road with no direct supervision. Volunteer work that benefited several charities. Responsibilities include testing, diagnoses, and repairing hand held cellular phones. Ranging from retail types that are given away with service to the most advance feature pack ones that are sold with service tacked onto the package. Tools used are single generators, frequency counters, multi-meters, automated testing equipment, and communication test equipment in addition to standard hand tools. Also did same thing on TV modules before transferring to cellular department. Responsibilities are answering questions that Technical Support Representatives have about PC and MAC computers. Also written several troubleshooting papers that the TSR use when troubleshooting computers over the phone. Research issues about the computers and advise the TSR about them. Assist loading and getting running database and troubleshooting assisting programs on the desktop work stations connected to a TCP/IP network. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, troubleshoot, and repair high speed file transfer cards for PC and Macintosh computers using a digital analyzer and other test equipment. Also did same for there RS-232 fiber optic transceiver. Also prepare and ship products to the customer. Receiving parts and putting them together in a kit to be sent to an assembler. Software testing to find bugs before releasing it to the customers. Customer technical support, helping the customer over the phone when they have problems getting the card/software to work over leased T1/T3, dial-up T1/T3, ISDN, switch 56 and other digital/voice lines using various CSU/DSU units. Responsibilities include sorting and preparing freight to be shipped on cargo aircraft. Also operated fork lifts and tug to position and move freight in and around aircraft. This included the training and passing a test to be allowed to operate the equipment. Responsibilities include testing, diagnoses, and repairing pinball, video games, jukebox, pool tables, redemption machines and other coin-operated amusement devices on location or in the shop. This included testing, repairing, re-working printed circuit boards and connectors using various digital and analog testing equipment. Upgrading software and firmware on CPU boards, including re-programming. Troubleshoot and repair, design, modified mechanical devices using machine shop equipment and hand tools. Designed, tested and implemented modification to the amusement devices. Also program and maintain an equipment tracking software on a IBM-PC (MS-DOS) type computer. Responsibilities include servicing VCR, TV, stereo, washing machines, drier, refrigerators, and freezers using various hand tools and digital/analog test equipment. This includes warranty work. Also maintain service shop at the retail store. Responsibilities included welding cords and leads together using an ultrasonic welder then preparing the cords to be molded. Also test, inspect, and packing the cords into boxes. Responsibilities include testing, diagnoses and repairing VCR, TV, CD-player, Laser disk player, audio amplifier, radios, stereo, and other home and car entertainment systems using various hand tools and digital/analog test equipment. Also designed, developed, implemented and maintain customer records and billing system on a MS-DOS (IBM-PC) computer. Responsibilities include testing, diagnoses, and repairing pinball, video games, jukebox, pool tables, vending machines and other coin-operated amusement devices on location or in the shop. This included testing, repairing, re-working printed circuit boards and connectors using various digital and analog testing equipment. Worked at various satellite antenna dealers installing and servicing C-band, KU-band, and other satellite dishes and receivers using various hand tools, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and other video/audio testing and analyzing equipment. This includes repairing satellite receivers using said equipment. Also programmed the satellite positions and channel format of the satellites into the receivers.
