Truer words than Mr. Hiatt's have never been spoken when it comes to smashing guitars. Here

unwanted stringed instruments. The senseless killing and destruction of these beautiful sonic

FOLLOW THESE STEPS IF YOU FEEL THE SUDDEN URGE TO SMASH A GUITAR:

Step 1: Place instrument safely back into case and close all clasps.

Step 2: Gather carton large enough to accomodate instrument case.

Step 3: Add styrofoam packing peanuts to fill all empty space in box.

Step 4: Using a strong packaging tape, securely tape down all flaps.

Step 6: Get adhesive shipping label and write provided address on it.

Step 7: Gather sufficient currency and give to mailman with package.

Step 8: Locate hammer of any type or style and grasp in hand firmly.

Step 9: Locate more deserving substitute items and smash to pieces.

Step 10: Enjoy nice frosty beverage and relax while sitting in recliner.


Congratulations!! You have done a worthy deed by sending a guitar to a
place where it shall be welcomed, played and given a warm loving home,
and if you followed step nine you've also made the world a better place!
