Stoneware

Stangl introduced their stoneware line of dinnerware in 1971. These patterns were made with a "unique stoneware body Durafired for extra strength". The original patterns featured plain geometric shapes in earth tones. Later five floral patterns (Adrian, Diana, Roxanne, Rustic Garden, and Susan) would be developed. In general none of these patterns were very popular. The floral designs were more popular than the geometric designs by far. Of the geometric designs all but Antigua, Delmar, Sesame, and Trinidad are virtually impossible to find.
