This month's feature is a stunning C. D. Peacock plate. These plates were designed by Kay Hackett and made especially for a Chicago jeweler named C. D. Peacock. These plates are typically marked with the name "C. D. Peacock" handwritten in gold on the back. The 11" plate is the most common size though 14" chop plates were also made in very limited quantities. |
