What happens on a Marriage Encounter?
A Marriage Encounter weekend is presented by a team of married couples. There are 12 different presentations related to various aspects of marriage. In their talks, the team shares their own personal experiences. At the end of each presentation, the couples are given questions related to the subject. Each individual then reflects on the questions and writes his/her own feelings and thoughts in response. After, in complete privacy, each couple then reveals to their spouse what the other has written. They then begin talking together about their responses.
The weekend begins on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. and concludes between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Your weekend is 2 days. It includes1 night stay with 5 meals.
