Screenplays
My apprenticeship in film was served ghostwriting what was to have been the first American film by the legendary Hungarian filmmaker Marta Meszaros. That year of close collaboration with one of Europe’s great artists of the cinema has continued to influence my sense of the medium.

TRIANGLE —
On March 25, 1911, the Triangle Waist Company, located
on the upper three stories of a building just off New
York City's Washington Square, went up in flames. In
the fire's brief eighteen minutes, it cost 146 lives.
Based on two years of original research, and including
materials never before published, this is a story of
corrupt political bosses, dewy-eyed reformers, innocent
young girls dreaming of a better life, and a deadly
fire. A panoramic portrait of a world in the midst of
change.
